KCET 2020- The online mode application form of KCET 2020 will be tentatively made available from 4th week of January 2020. After releasing the application form, the candidates can fill & submit the application form until the 3rd week of March 2020. The Common Entrance Test of Karnataka is expected to be held oin the last week of April 2020 and Kannada Language Test will tentatively be held in the first week of May 2020 only in the exam centres situated in Bangalore. KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test that is a state-level based exam. It is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority for getting admission to various engineering, technical and other programs. KCET 2020 qualified candidates will be selected in various undergraduate institutes all over the states of Karnataka. Medical courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical-related courses are qualified through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam. Candidates who will qualify NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) will be accepted for admission in the undergraduate course of B.Arch.     KCET 2020 Application Form

    The application form of KCET 2020 will be available on the official website of KEA. Candidates can visit this website to check if the application form of KCET 2020 is available. The tentative date of online KCET application form 2020 is the first week of February 2020 and the last date for filling the application form is the third week of March 2020. The mode of application form is only available through online mode. No other mode of filling up the application form is available.

    KCET 2020 Application Form Procedure

    The candidates can follow the below step to fill up the online application form of KCET 2020 exam.

    • Candidates should visit the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority for filling up the application form of KCET 2020.
    • Candidates need to click the CET-2020 UG application form to fill up.
    • After entering the details candidates will generate application ID and password and registered their mobile number and Email ID.
    • After fill up all the necessary personal details, address, academic qualification, and other details.
    • Then candidates need to upload scanned photograph, signature and left thumb impression in JPEG format.
    • Candidates need to take out a print copy of the application form and get the signature and seal of the principal of the college where the last studied and passed 10+2 exam. This will be required during the time of document verification.

    KCET 2020 Application Fee

    The application fee of the KCET 2020 exam is in offline mode. It is not available in online mode. Candidates have to pay the fee through bank challan. In case of candidates who are applying from outside of Karnataka state need to pay it through Demand Draft that will be in favor of Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority payable at any bank of Bangalore.     KCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 on the basis of Residents are as follows:

    • Candidates need to be the citizen of India for giving the KCET 2020
    • For getting eligible, the candidates have to pass 10+2 exam from a recognized board of Karnataka state of India.
    • To get eligible for KCET 2020 exam, the candidates must have studied a minimum of 7 years of academic qualification up to 12th standard at the time of giving the KCET exam.
    • At the time of Counselling, candidates must submit their permanent resident certificate of Karnataka state to get direct benefits.

    KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 on the basis of Age

    During the time of giving the KCET 2020 exam candidates need to be of 17 years. There is no upper age limit for giving the KCET 2020 exam. But the candidates need to be a citizen of India.

    KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 on the basis of Qualification

    B.Pharm 10+2 passed or 2nd PUC passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or PCB subject in the qualifying exam. 45% of marks obtained in the subject group that is either PCB or PCM. 40% in case of the reserved categories. Candidates who Diploma in Pharmacy is also eligible for B.Pharm course.
    BDS/MBBS 10+2 passed or 2nd PUC passed with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates need to secure 50% in the PCB group. 40% in case of reserved categories. Candidates need to qualify the NEET 2020 exam for getting admission.
    B.Arch 10+2 passed or 2nd PUC passed with Mathematics as the main subject. Candidates need to secure 50% for general category. 40% in case of reserved category. To become eligible for B.Arch candidates need to have a good score of NATA.
    AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Naturopathy, and Homeopathy) 10+2 passed or 2nd PUC passed with English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology group (PCB). Candidates need to secure 50% for general category. 40% in case of reserved category.

    KCET 2020 Syllabus

    Students have to prepare for KCET 2020 exam according to the syllabus as it is the most important tool for preparation. According to the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State, the syllabus of KCET 2020 will be followed on the basis of First and Second PUC syllabi. B.Tech/B.E. candidates need to give the PCM subject combination exam, while the candidates who are going to apply for B.Tech (Diary Tech), B.Tech (Food Techno), B.Tech (Agri. Engg.) will have to appear the exam having 4 subjects that are (Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry).  The exam duration will be of 1hour and 20 minutes and each paper will be of 60 marks. For each right answer, the candidates will get 1 mark and for the wrong answer, there is no negative marking.

    KCET 2020 Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern for KCET 2020 will be an offline mode that is pen and paper-based. There will be multiple based questions. There will be 4 subjects examination and each will contain 60 marks. Candidates will get 1 mark each for each right answer and there is no negative marking for every wrong answer:

    The candidates who will successfully submit the online mode application form of KCET 2020 exam will only be able to download the KCET admit card 2020. The admit card will be available only through online mode and no other mode is available.

    KCET 2020 Counselling

    Candidates who will qualify the KCET 2020 exam will be called for counselling as per the rank and merit list they have secured in the KCET 2020 exam.
