The entrance exam is a pathway for getting admission to private-aided, government-aided colleges and institutes of Karnataka state. Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2019
The candidates who are only eligible can fill up the application form. The process of filling up the application form is given below:
- The application form is available in online mode.
- The starting date of application form was from 30th May 2019.
- The candidates have to fill up the application form before 13th June 2019.
- When the application form is available, candidates are required to enter the details like name, age, date of birth, educational qualification and the course they want to pursue.
- Then candidates are required to upload scanned copy of photograph, signature, and thumb impression that should be in JPEG format.
- Before submitting the application, candidates are required to review the application form and click the submit button.
The application fee can be paid in many ways like online, demand draft, e-challan, and e-payment through post offices. The application fee for General and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates will be Rs 650/-. For candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST), Schedule Caste (ST) and the category-I belonging to the state of Karnataka only will be Rs 500/-. The application fee can also be paid through SBI challan from any of the State Bank of India branches in Mysore. In the form of e-payment, candidates can also pay the application fee in the post offices of Mysore.
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2019
The candidates should have passed the bachelor’s degree course from any recognized university of Karnataka or India. Candidates have to score 50% marks in bachelor degree to become eligible for the Master degree program. In case of the candidates belonging to the reserved categories like ST, SC, and OBC, they are required to score 45% marks in bachelor degree for becoming eligible. The candidates, who have GATE scorecard, will be exempted from Karnataka PGCET exam and will be directly called for counselling process.
Karnataka PGCET Admit Card 2019
The admit card will be available on the official website of KEA. The candidates can download the admit card through online mode. The tentative date for admit card release will be the 1st July 2019. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the details like application ID, date of birth and password. The admit card should be kept safe until the admission process is not completed. The candidates should bring one identity proof with Karnataka PGCET 2019 admit card while coming for the exam. The candidates will not be permitted inside the exam hall without admit card.
Karnataka PGCET Syllabus 2019
The candidates have to follow the syllabus to ace in the Karnataka post graduate entrance exam. The syllabus will be released on the official website. There will be the different syllabus for various Master degree programs. The candidates are required to follow the syllabus to prepare well for the exam.
Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern 2019
The exam pattern for Karnataka PGCET 2019 will be laid by Karnataka Examination Authority. The exam tentative date for Karnataka 2019 PGCET exam will fall in the 2nd week of July. Candidates can follow the steps below to get more knowledge about the exam pattern:
- The exam for the engineering program will be conducted in offline mode that is pen-paper mode.

- I mark will be given for each right answer.

Karnataka PGCET 2019 Result
The Karnataka PGCET result will be declared after the completion of the entrance exam and the tentative date the 3rd week of August 2019. The candidates can log in to the official website and check their result online. The result can be accessed by entering the application ID and date of birth. The merit list for the candidates will be prepared according to the marks obtained in Karnataka 2019 PGCET exam.
Karnataka PGCET 2019 Counselling
After the result is declared the candidates who will score high rank in the entrance exam and the one who secured a good rank in GATE exam will be given much preference. The candidates of GATE score will be called for the counselling process first. The counselling process will be conducted in offline mode. The starting date for the counselling process will be from the 1st week of September 2019. Seat allotment will be take place after the verification of the documents and candidates have to report in person to the allotted colleges after seat allotment process is completed.
