JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 has been allotted by NTA to those candidates who have submitted the online application form of JEE Main 2019 successfully. The candidates can check the allotted JEE Main exam centre on the official website of NTA or they can click the link given in the middle of this page. The candidates can check the allotted exam centr by entering their application number and password. Earlier, NTA has revealed the name of exam centres where JEE Main 2019 exam going to be held in both session. JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 can be defined as the list of the cities which the candidates need to select for appearing in JEE Main 2019 exam while submitting the application form. Earlier in the official brochure of JEE Main 2019 exam, NTA has announced the tentative list of JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 for both sessions of JEE Main 2019. Later, no changes have been made in the list. 15 more cities have been added to the list of JEE Main 2019 Exam Centres as compare to last year’s exam centre. The candidates will be required to choose the exam centre in the JEE Main online application form 2019 from the list of JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 given on this page as per their choice.  The candidates have to choose the maximum of 4 cities in the online application form. JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in total 273 cities across the globe. Out of 273, 264 are Indian cities while 9 are in foreign countries. The candidates can opt exam centres in India or outside India. The candidates have to choose exam city as per their preference and availability of JEE Main Exam Centres 2019. Scholarship

About JEE Main 2019: JEE Main 2019 is a national level common entrance test to be conducted by NTA twice a year in online mode for the students who are seeking admission into bachelor‘s program in Engineering and Architecture offered by top government institutions such as IITs and ISM Dhanbad, many other famous engineering institutions. As per the decision made by MHRD ministry of India, JEE Main exam will be held twice in a year in online mode from the year 2019 onward. The candidates preparing to get admission in top engineering institution through JEE Main 2019 will have to first complete online registration process which is already started from 1 September 2018. On the other hand, the application forms for JEE Main exam to be held in April 2019 will be released on 8th February 2019. The first phase of JEE Main 2019 exam would be conducted from 6 to 20 January 2019 and second session of JEE Main 2019 will be held from 6 to 20 April 2019 in online mode only. In the year 2018, total 10,89,000 students appeared in JEE Main Exam.

    Important Point Related to JEE Main Exam Centres 2019

    • In the last few years, the number of JEE Main Exam centre cities have been constantly increasing and now it is gone up to 273 from 258. However, till the last year, abroad exam centre remains was constant but it has been decreased now from 10 to 9 while exam centre in India has increased from 248 to 264.
    • In a case of increment in number of students who will opt Delhi for JEE Main 2019 computer based online exam, some candidates might be allotted centres in Faridabad, or Ghaziabad, Noida or Greater Noida.
    • The candidates want to select an exam centre out of India will have to take the exam as per the schedule allotted by NTA.
    • The candidates are suggested to fill the online application form of JEE Main 2019 as soon as possible because the dates & slot of exam and exam centre will be offered to the candidates on the basis of first-come, first-served.
    • For exam centers in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the language medium of JEE Main exam will also be available in Gujarati.
    • The candidates must choose the exam centre wisely, they are suggested to keep their convenience in the mind while choosing the exam centres.

    Procedure to choose JEE Main Exam Centres 2019

    The candidates who are going to fill up the online application form of JEE main 2019 exam will be required to choose the exam centre from the list given above. The candidates will have to opt 4 JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 in the online application form while filling up the online application form. Firstly, the candidates are advised to check the list of JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 and then pick 4 as per their convenience. Question papers at all the JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 (except Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli) will be in both English and Hindi language while the candidates who will choose JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli will have question paper will be in Hindi, English and in Gujarati language.

    The candidates who are checking the list of JEE Main Exam Centres 2019 must have made up their mind to appear in JEE Main exam to be held in January or in April 2019. Such candidates must be preparing for JEE Main 2019 exam in a proper way. The candidates are suggested to keep JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019 in their mind while preparing for JEE Main 2019 exam.     • Exam Mode: Computer based Test (CBT)

    • Number of Questions: 30 questions from every subjects a total of 360 marks

    JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019 for Paper 2

    • Computer-based test (CBT), Paper 2 is a drawing test and will be conducted in pen and paper-based test
    • Type of Questions: Objective Type or Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
    • Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing
    • Number of Questions: 30 questions from Mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 from drawing a total of 390 marks
    • Language: English, Hindi and Gujarati
    • Exam Duration: 3 hours
    • Marking Scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 mark for each wrong answer

    JEE Main Exam Centers 2019 FAQs

    Question. How many cities are going to host JEE Mains 2019 exam?

    Answer. As per the list of JEE Main exam centres 2019, the both session of JEE Main 2019 exam will be conducted across 273 exam cities in India and abroad, out of 273, 264 are Indian cities while 9 are in foreign countries. The candidates can select maximum 4 exam centres in the online application form.

    Question. When NTA will allot exam centres to the candidates?

    Answer. NTA has already allotted exam centres to the candidates who have submitted the online application form to appear in the first phase of JEE Main 2019 exam.

    Question. When the candidates should report to the allotted exam centre?

    Answer.  The candidates need to report as per the timing mentioned on their admit card. The reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card. However, the candidates are advised to report at least half an hour before commencing the exam.

    Question. What documents should the candidates can bring to the exam centre?

    Answer.  The candidates will be required to bring their Admit Card and Aadhar Card to the exam center. Aadhar Card is mandatory for verification purpose. In case of the candidate are belonging from Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, and Meghalaya, and do not possess an Aadhar Card, they can bring their Passport or any other valid Government identity proof along with their admit card to the JEE Main exam centres 2019. Except these 2 documents, the candidates will not be allowed to bring any other document to the exam hall.
