JEE Main Exam Centres 2020- NTA has announced the exam centres list for JEE Main 2020 exams. This year, NTA has reduced the number of exam centres in compare to last year’s. In the year 2020, there will be a total of 233 exam centres around the country and 9 test cities in Abroad. The candidates who will successfully apply under the deadline will be appearing in the entrance exam in the selected exam city. NTA will conduct the first phase of JEE Main 2020 exam from 3 to 9 January 2020. JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 will be allotted by NTA to those candidates who will submit the online application form of JEE Main 2020 successfully. The candidates can check the allotted JEE Main exam centre on the official website of NTA by entering their application number and password. JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 can be defined as the list of the cities which the candidates need to select for appearing in JEE Main 2020 exam while submitting the application form. About JEE Main 2020: JEE Main 2020 is a national level common entrance test conducted by NTA twice a year in online mode for the students who are seeking admission into bachelor‘s program in Engineering and Architecture offered by top government institutions such as IITs and ISM Dhanbad, many other famous engineering institutions. The candidates preparing to get admission in top engineering institution through JEE Main 2020 will have to first complete the online registration process which is already started from 3 September 2019. On the other hand, the application forms for JEE Main exam to be held in April 2020 will be released on 7th February 2020. The first phase of JEE Main 2020 exam would be conducted from 6 to 11 January 2020 and second session of JEE Main 2020 is scheduled to be held from 3 to 9 April 2020 in online mode only.

    Important Point Related to JEE Main Exam Centres 2020

    • In the last few years, the number of JEE Main Exam centre cities have been constantly increasing and now it is reduced to 242 from 273. However, abroad exam centre remains is remain constant. last year, it was decreased from 10 to 9 while exam centre.
    • In a case of increment in the number of students who will opt Delhi for JEE Main 2020 computer-based online exam, some candidates might be allotted centres in Faridabad, or Ghaziabad, Noida or Greater Noida.
    • The candidates want to select an exam centre out of India will have to take the exam as per the schedule allotted by NTA.
    • The candidates are suggested to fill the online application form of JEE Main 2020 as soon as possible because the dates & slot of exam and exam centre will be offered to the candidates on the basis of first-come, first-served.
    • For exam centers in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the language medium of JEE Main exam will also be available in Gujarati.
    • The candidates must choose the exam centre wisely, they are suggested to keep their convenience in the mind while choosing the exam centres.

    Procedure to choose JEE Main Exam Centres 2020

    The candidates who are going to fill up the online application form of JEE main 2020 exam will be required to choose the exam centre from the list given above. The candidates will have to opt 4 JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 in the online application form while filling up the online application form. Firstly, the candidates are advised to check the list of JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 and then pick 4 as per their convenience. Question papers at all the JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 (except Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli) will be in both English and Hindi language while the candidates who will choose JEE Main Exam Centres 2020 from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli will have question paper will be in Hindi, English and in Gujarati language.

    • Exam Mode: Computer-based Test (CBT)
    • Language: English, Hindi, and Gujarati
    • Number of Questions: 25 questions from every subjects a total of 300 marks
    • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
    • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical
    • Marking Scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 mark for each wrong answer

    JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 for Paper 2

    • Course: B. Arch and B. Planning courses
    • Exam Mode:  Computer-based Test (CBT),  the drawing test will be conducted in pen and paper-based test
    • Type of Questions: Objective Type and numerical
    • Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing, Planning
    • Number of Questions: 25 questions from Mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 from drawing a total of 400 marks

    Question. How many cities are going to host JEE Mains 2020 exam?

    Answer. As per the list of JEE Main exam centres 2020, both sessions of JEE Main 2020 exam will be conducted across 242 exam cities in India and abroad, out of 242, 233 are Indian cities while 9 are in foreign countries. The candidates can select maximum of 4 exam centres in the online application form.

    Question. When NTA will allot exam centres to the candidates?

    Answer. NTA has already allotted exam centres to the candidates who have submitted the online application form to appear in the first phase of JEE Main 2020 exam.

    Question. When the candidates should report to the allotted exam centre?

    Answer.  The candidates need to report as per the timing mentioned on their admit card. The reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card. However, the candidates are advised to report at least half an hour before commencing the exam.

    Question. What documents should the candidates can bring to the exam centre?

    Answer.  The candidates will be required to bring their Admit Card and Aadhar Card to the exam center. Aadhar Card is mandatory for verification purpose. In case of the candidate are belonging from Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, and Meghalaya, and do not possess an Aadhar Card, they can bring their Passport or any other valid Government identity proof along with their admit card to the JEE Main exam centres 2020. Except these 2 documents, the candidates will not be allowed to bring any other document to the exam hall.
