JEE Main Admit Card 2019 – The second round of JEE Main 2019 exam is started on 7 April 2019. The candidates who have downloaded the JEE Main 2019 admit card are appearing in the entrance test. NTA has released the admit card for JEE Main April session exam on 20 March 2019. The candidates who have filled the online application form of April session exam can download their admit card on the official website of NTA and on this page as well. To download the admit card, the candidates have to provide the required credential such as Application Number and Password or  Application Number and Date of Birth. Previously, NTA has revised the date of JEE Main 2019 April session exam as the date of forthcoming Loksabha Election 2019 was announced, the exam was re-scheduled to be held from 7 to 12 April 2019. NTA (National Testing Agency) has uploaded the JEE Main Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2019 on 20 March 2019 on its separate portal for Engineering for the second session of JEE Main 2019 exam. The candidates who successfully submit the online application form under the deadline will only be able to download their JEE Main Admit Card 2019.     Procedure to download JEE Main Admit Card 2019?

    Candidates who have submitted JEE Main application form 2019 successfully can download JEE Main admit card 2019 on the official website, and also by clicking a link given on this page. Earlier, the official dates for releasing the JEE Main Admit card has been announced by NTA. In order to download the JEE Main Admit Card 2019, the candidates will need to follow the following steps mentioned below:

    • Visit the official website of JEE Main directly or click the link given below on this page.
    • Now, the candidates have to click the option given to download the JEE Main Admit Card 2019.

    JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019

    The candidates who have filled the online application form successfully and going to take up the JEE Main exam in 2019 will have to follow the exam pattern as decided by the conducting body. As per the instruction released in JEE Main 2019 official brochure, the following pattern will be followed by each candidate:

    • Exam Mode: Computer-based Online Test (CBT) In the case of Paper II Mathematics and Aptitude test will be conducted in CBT mode, Drawing test will be conducted in pen & paper mode
    • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
    • Number of Questions: 30 questions from every subjects a total of 360 marks
    • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
    • Language: English, Hindi, and Gujarati
    • Exam Duration: 3 hours
    • Marking Scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer
    • Negative Marking: -1 mark for each wrong answer

    JEE Main Admit Card 2019: Exam Day Instructions

    A few instructs are suggested to the candidates which should be flowed on the day of JEE Main 2019 exam. The candidates can check the instruction below:

    • Firstly, the candidates are suggested to check all the details mentioned on the JEE Main Admit Card 2019. In case of discrepancy, immediately contact NTA for required action.
    • Visit the examination center a day before the exam so as to report in time on the day of JEE Main 2019 exam.
    • PwD candidates must carry a copy of the disability certificate in the prescribed format. They will be asked to show it in the exam hall.
    • Candidates must be punctual and be present at the allotted JEE Main Exam Centre as per the scheduled reporting time.
    • Stationery items like Ballpoint pen, paper for the offline examination will be provided at the exam center only.
    • For online mode exam, bring your own geometry box set pencils, erasers and color pencils or crayons.
    • Students will not be permitted the exam hall if they have not carried the JEE Main 2019 admit card and ID Proof.
    • The candidates are not allowed to bring any impermissible items inside the exam hall.

    Uses of JEE Main Admit Card 2019

    Apart from being a mandatory document to enter the exam hall, JEE Main Admit Card 2019 also has the following uses:

    • The admit card will be required during JEE Main counseling. Therefore, the candidates should preserve it safely for future correspondence.
    • The hall ticket is issued provisionally. Thus, candidates cannot claim admissions if they just possess the admit card. Their eligibility must be proven during counseling.
    • Admission to eligible candidates into the participating NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be offered through JEE Main. The exam also acts as a qualifying examination for JEE Advanced 2019.

    Question. Do I need to carry any identification proof along with the JEE Main Admit Card 2019 to the allotted exam center?

    Answer: Yes, every JEE Main candidates are required to carry a valid photo identity proof along with a passport size photograph. Aadhaar card is the most appropriate identity proof. PwD category candidates are also required to carry a copy of their PwD certificate issued by a competent authority to the exam center on the day of the exam.
