JEE Main 2019– Joint Entrance Examination Main, commonly known as JEE Main, is a national level common entrance exam to be conducted in online mode at various exam centres around the word under control of Testing Agency (NTA). The main purpose of JEE Main 2019 exam is to offer admission to the deserving candidates into bachelor‘s program in Engineering and Architecture offered by top government institutions such as IITs, IIITs, NITs, and ISM, Dhanbad. Moreover, other known engineering institutions shall also accept JEE Main 2019 score to offer B.Tech admission. As per the announcement made by the MHRD ministery, from 2019 onwards JEE Main exam will be conducted twice by the National Testing Agency in online mode only. JEE main 2019 exam will be conducted in 2 sessions in January and April gradually. The candidates will have now a good chance of getting admission into their desired engineering program through JEE Main January and April exams. The candidates who are passed out or appearing in class 12 or its equivalent exam in 2019 will be considered eligible to take up JEE Main 2019 exam. Application form of JEE Main 2019 exam has to be submitted using online mode only and the online application form for JEE Main January 2019 exam will be made available from 1 September 2018. JEE Main 2019 is India’s largest and one of the most popular entrance examinations to be conducted by National testing Agency (NTA). Formerly, JEE Main exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of School Examination) but last year, honorable MHRD minister has made an announcement that National Testing Agency (NTA) will take over JEE Main exam from CBSE and will conduct the exam from the year 2019 onward.     New Changes and Key Points of JEE Main 2019

    • From the year 2019 onward, JEE Main exam would be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
    • JEE Main exam would be conducted under control of NTA in computer-based online mode only; there would no offline exam.
    • A few dates of important events such as availability of online application form, last date to submit application form and exam dates for both sessions of JEE Main 2019 has been notified in July 2018.
    • Detailed information on JEE Main 2019 including JEE Main Exam centres, counselling and more is yet to be released by NTA.
    • JEE Main mock test 2019 facility can be accessed by the aspirants from 1 August 2018.
    • Various practice centres would be set up by the NTA where students can prepare for JEE Main 2019 exam on every Saturday and Sunday.
    • A candidate can take up both sessions of JEE Main Exam 2019. Better performance would be taken into account for admission.

    JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2019

    The candidates who are going to fill up the online application form of JEE Main 2019 exam must meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

    • Age: The candidates should be maximum 25 years old on 1 October of the year of admission to meet the age eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2019. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and the person with disabilities (PwD), the maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years. Date of Birth (DOB) of the candidates recorded in the secondary school certificate will only be considered for age eligibility.
    • Educational Qualification: The candidates appearing or passed in class 12th exam with minimum 5 subjects including math, physics, language and any of chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019.
    • Year of Appearance in Qualifying Exam: The candidates who have passed in class 12 exam or equivalent exam in the year 2017 or 2018 or those, who are appearing in class 12 examination in the year 2019, are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019. The candidates who passed class 12 exams in the year 2016 or the candidates, who appeared in 2016 but did not pass and passed the same in the year 2017, are not eligible to apply. The candidates, who are going to appear in class 12th exam after 2019, will also not be eligible for JEE Main 2019.
    • Number of Attempts: A candidates can attempt JEE Main maximum 3 times

    JEE Main 2019 Eligibility criteria for Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Haryana and Uttarakhand state students will be as per the rules of their respective states.

    JEE Main Application Form 2019

    JEE Main Application Fee 2019

    JEE Main Application Fee 2019 for the examination center in India and outside of India will be different. The candidates will have to pay the fee as per the fee prescribed by the exam conducting authority category-wise and center-wise in the official notification for the exam. The candidates desiring to appear in JEE Main 2019 have to submit an application form only through online mode on the official website. The candidates will have no option to fill and submit the application form through offline mode; however, the candidates will be able to pay the application form fee through online and offline mode.     JEE Main Counseling 2019

    JEE Main Counseling 2019 would be conducted by Joint Admission Board (JAB) through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) which is an official body for conducting JEE Main and JEE Advanced counseling and the government of India has constructed JAB. The candidates, who have scored required marks in JEE Main and in JEE Advanced, will only be eligible to get admission through JoSAA counseling into the program offered by IITs, ISM Dhanbad, NITS, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, CFTIs, and gifts.     JEE Main 2019 FAQ

    1. When will JEE Main 2019 application process start?

    Ans. Official dates for few events of JEE Main 2019 has been announced by NTA. As per the released dates, the online application process for JEE Main January 2019 exam will start from 1 September 2018 and application form for JEE Main April 2019 exam would be made available tentatively from the first week of February 2019.

    2. If I make any mistakes in my JEE Main Application Form 2019, will I be able to make a correction?

    Ans. Yes, NTA provides facility to make a correction in the submitted application form. JEE Main 2019 correction window is expected to remain open on the official website of NTA and the candidates will be able to make a correction in particulars like exam centers, mode of exam, and more.

    3. Is Aadhaar Card number compulsory for JEE Main 2019?

    Ans. Yes, Aadhar number is mandatory in order to fill the application form. If the Aadhar card does not match with the details given in the document, then the candidates are required to submit a correction request and then the candidates will be able to fill JEE Main 2019 application form by entering 14-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID / UR No. The candidates, who belong to Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya, are exempted from submitting their Aadhar number; however, the candidates from these states will have to enter another valid government identity number.

    4. When will I be able to download JEE Main Admit Card 2019?

    Ans. As JEE Main 2019 schedule is not announced yet, I cannot tell you the exact date but, as per last year schedule, JEE Main Admit Card 2019 for JEE Main 2019 April exam is expected to be released in the 2nd week of March 2019.

    5. Who will be conducting JEE Main Counseling 2019?

    Ans. JEE Main Counseling 2019 will be conducted by Joint Admission Board (JAB) through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) which is an official body for conducting JEE Main and JEE Advanced counseling.
