JEE Main 2019 exam has been commenced from 8th January 2019 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Further, the entrance test of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2019 will continue until 12th January 2019. However, to appear in the JEE Main 2019 exam, candidates had to reach the allotted exam centres at 7 am i.e. prior to the reporting time. Post reaching the exam centres, students were not allowed to carry any kind of prohibited items that include bag, watches, mobile phones, stationery items etc. Apart, the candidates had to carry the obligatory item i.e. admit card along with the photocopy of the identity proof such as Passport, PAN Card, Driving License etc. along with the photograph to get an entry in the examination hall. Moreover, Paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 was conducted for the candidates longing to pursue undergraduate programs i.e. B.Arch.
Heading towards the test paper of JEE Main 2019 for B.Arch, is comprised of questions from Mathematics and Aptitude that has been conducted in online mode whereas the drawing test was pen-paper based. Over 9.5 lakhs candidates registered for JEE Main 2019 out of which around 1.1 lakhs candidates appeared in today’s exam i.e. on 8th January 2019 in online mode merely. To turn up in the JEE Main 2019 exam, candidates were not allowed to wear formal dress code which has been suggested by the examination conducting authority i.e. National Testing Agency (NTA).
JEE Main 2019 Student’s Post Reaction for Paper 2
- Mayank said that the questions based on Mathematics were a little bit difficult as compared to those asked in Aptitude. Discussing the drawing test, he said that it totally depends on imagination and so couldn’t if it was easy or difficult. Coming to the distribution of questions, 30 questions were asked in Mathematics of 4 marks each, Aptitude section had the total number of 50 questions. Furthermore, the drawing section had 3 questions with 70 marks in total.
- Further, Rajnish from Ghaziabad said that almost 60% questions were asked from 11th standard and rest 40% from 12th. Also, according to him, the overall exam was moderate in level since most of the questions were easy. But the questions asked in the Mathematics section were somehow difficult than Aptitude-based questions.
- JEE Main 2019 exam for paper 2 was concluded at 12:30 pm, candidates who appeared in the exam said that they faced difficulty since earlier the entrance test was conducted in offline mode but from this year only drawing test was in offline mode and for Mathematics and Aptitude section, they had to go through the CBT.
- Post talking to Sidharth, he said that the test paper of JEE Main comprised on questions which were picture-based and he used to study at least 10 hours a day to clear the entrance examination of JEE Main 2019 for B.Arch. program.
