JEE Advanced Result 2020- The result for JEE Advanced 2020 exam is going to be released in the 2nd week of June 2020. The result has been released by the exam conducting authority of JEE Advanced for 2020 which was held on 27 May 2020. The JEE Advanced 2020 exam will be conducted by IIT Delhi that is one of the seven zonal coordinating IITs. IIT Delhi has recently announced the date of JEE Advanced 2020 exam. The exam has been scheduled to be held on 17 May 2020. Aspiring candidates will be able to access their results online by logging in to the result portal using their login credentials. The candidates will need to enter their DOB, email id, registration number, and their mobile number to check their result for JEE Advanced 2020.  The candidates qualifying the exam will be eligible for admissions under various engineering courses offered by IITs. How to check JEE Advanced Result 2020?

    The JEE Advanced Result 2020 will be declared on 2nd week of June 2020. The exam is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Delhi 17 May 2020. To check the results the candidates will need to follow the following steps:

    • After opening the result portal at https://results.jeeadv.ac.in/, the candidates will need to enter their DOB, mobile number, registration number, and email id and click on the “submit” button.
    • The candidates will be then redirected to their result window.

    How will the JEE Advanced 2020 Score Calculated?

    Candidates must know that the scores of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered while calculating the scores of candidates for JEE Advanced 2020 exam for the ranking process. Therefore, it is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both papers. The marks for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be calculated by adding scores secured by the candidates in both paper 1 and paper 2 for each subject. The calculation of aggregate marks will be done on the basis of the following formula-

    Aggregate scores = Aggregate Marks in Physics + Aggregate Marks in Chemistry + Aggregate Marks in Mathematics

    JEE Advanced Result 2020 – Tie Breaker Policy

    If two or more candidates will secure equal scores in the JEE Advanced 2020 exam, the authority will use the tiebreaker policy to break the tie in such cases. The tiebreaker policy of JEE Advanced exam state that:

    Candidates securing higher scores in Mathematics subject will be given the higher rank. If the tie is not resolved then the higher scores of Physics subject will be considered to break the tie. If the tie still doesn’t get resolved the candidates will be awarded same ranks.

    JEE Advanced Result 2020 – Important Points

    The authorities have released the rank list for candidates belonging to the OBC (NCL), ST and SC category separately. Candidates belonging to these categories will be given specified relaxation in minimum marks. The minimum marks will vary category wise. The authority will not send individual rank cards to the candidates. Candidates must know that mere securing a rank in JEE Advanced 2020 exam will not assure admissions under IITs and ISM.     JEE Advanced Cut Off 2020

    After the declaration of the result, the concerned authority will release the cut off for the exam. The cut-offs will consist of the minimum rank required by the candidates to be eligible for admissions. JEE Advanced cut off 2020 will consist of both opening and closing ranks.
