JEE Advanced Result 2019- The result for JEE Advanced 2019 exam has been released today on 14 June 2019. The result has been released by the exam conducting authority of JEE Advanced for 2019 which was held on 27 May 2019. The JEE Advanced 2019 exam was conducted by IIT Roorkee that is one of the seven zonal coordinating IITs. IIT Roorkee has recently announced the date of JEE Advanced 2019 exam. The exam had been re-scheduled to be held on 27 May 2019 due to upcoming Loksabha Election 2019, earlier it was scheduled to be held on 19 May 2019. Aspiring candidates will be able to access their results online by logging in to the result portal using their login credentials. The candidates will need to enter their DOB, email id, registration number, and their mobile number to check their result for JEE Advanced 2019.  The candidates qualifying the exam will be eligible for admissions under various engineering courses offered by IITs. Candidates must know that the marks secured by them in JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered while calculating the ranks.

After the declaration of the result, JoSAA will conduct the JEE Advanced counselling 2019 and seat allotment process. All the activities of online counselling will be managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority.     How to check JEE Advanced Result 2019?

    The JEE Advanced Result 2019 will be declared on 14 June 2019. The exam is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Roorkee 27 May 2019. To check the results the candidates will need to follow the following steps:

    How will the JEE Advanced 2019 Score Calculated?

    Candidates must know that the scores of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered while calculating the scores of candidates for JEE Advanced 2019 exam for the ranking process. Therefore, it is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both papers. The marks for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be calculated by adding scores secured by the candidates in both paper 1 and paper 2 for each subject. The calculation of aggregate marks will be done on the basis of the following formula-

    Aggregate scores = Aggregate Marks in Physics + Aggregate Marks in Chemistry + Aggregate Marks in Mathematics

    JEE Advanced Result 2019 – Tie Breaker Policy

    If two or more candidates will secure equal scores in the JEE Advanced 2019 exam, the authority will use the tiebreaker policy to break the tie in such cases. The tiebreaker policy of JEE Advanced exam state that:

    Candidates securing higher scores in Mathematics subject will be given the higher rank. If the tie is not resolved then the higher scores of Physics subject will be considered to break the tie. If the tie still doesn’t get resolved the candidates will be awarded with same ranks.

    JEE Advanced Result 2019 – Important Points

    The authorities have released the rank list for candidates belonging to the OBC (NCL), ST and SC category separately. Candidates belonging to these categories will be given specified relaxation in minimum marks. The minimum marks will vary category wise. The authority will not send individual rank cards to the candidates. Candidates must know that mere securing a rank in JEE Advanced 2019 exam will not assure admissions under IITs and ISM.     JEE Advanced Cut Off 2019

    After the declaration of the result, the concerned authority will release the cut off for the exam. The cut-offs will consist of the minimum rank required by the candidates to be eligible for admissions. JEE Advanced cut off 2019 will consist of both opening and closing ranks.
