JEE Advanced Counselling 2019- The counselling process of JEE Advanced 2019 exam will be conducted in the month of July 2019, tentatively. The counselling and seat allotment process for the exam will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The aspiring candidates qualifying the JEE Advanced 2019 exam will need to register for the counselling and seat allotment process. As per the latest announcement made by the conducting body IIT Roorkee, JEE Advanced 2019 exam will be held on 19 May 2019. Candidates must know that the JEE Advanced counselling 2019 and seat allotment process will be conducted by JoSAA in seven consecutive rounds. The candidates will need to register for the counselling and seat allotment process. For this, they will be required to log in to the JEE Advanced Counselling 2019 portal using their JEE Advanced 2019 roll number, date of birth, registration number, and password. On the basis of the course & college preference of the candidate, and availability of seats they will be allotted seats. The candidates will not be able to withdraw in the last round of seat allotment, and will also need to be physically present pay the seat acceptance fee on the day of counselling. JEE Advanced Counselling 2019

The counselling process will include the following steps:

  • Registration
  • Counselling
  • Choice filling (preferred colleges and courses)
  • Choice locking
  • Allotment of seats
  • Reporting to the allotted colleges and getting provisional admission
  • The registration process for JEE Advanced counselling 2019 and seat allotment process will begin in June 2019, tentatively. In order to register themselves, the candidates will need to enter their details as mentioned in JEE Advanced admit card 2019. The aspirants will need to enter their roll number, registration number, date of birth, and password. After filling all the details, click on confirm the password. Candidates are informed to keep their registration number and password generated during process safe with themselves for future reference.
  • After registration, the candidates are required to fill in their branch and college preference. Spirants will be able to fill in their branch and college choices as per their preference and convenience. Until the final locking of choices is done, candidates will be able to change, edit, and reorder new choices. Candidates are advised to choose and lock their choices before the last date. In case no choices are locked by the candidates, their choices will be locked by default. On the basis of All India Ranks, JEE Advanced counselling 2019 and JEE Advanced seat allotment 2019 process will be concluded by JoSAA. In order to be eligible for admissions in Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering, willing candidates will be required to fulfill other additional health and fitness parameters.
  • After filling of online choices, JEE Advanced counselling 2019 and seat allotment process will be concluded in 7 consecutive rounds to offer admissions to aspirants in IITs. Aspirants will be able to check seats allotted to them using their login credentials generated during registration process. Candidates are advised to check the seat allotment result, after conduct of every round of seat allotment as seat allocation may change due to up gradation. Thus, in order to avoid any discrepancy candidates must keep a check on seat allotment process closely.
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL categories, will need to get the soft copy of their category certificate verified (to be uploaded at the time of registration), during seat allotment and JEE Advanced counselling 2019 process.
  • In order to freeze and acknowledge the seats allotted to them, the candidates will be then required to pay a requisite amount of tuition fee during seat allotment process.
  • At the end, candidates will be required to get their original documents and self attested copies of all the documents verified at the help desk.
