IIT Roorkee, the conducting body of JEE Advanced 2019, has finally released the exam date, which is to be held on 19th May 2019. The aspirants, who are aiming for JEE Advanced 2019, must be in dearth of the exact date which they can now mark in their calendars and revise their study plans accordingly. JEE Advanced 2019 will be applicable to those candidates who qualify JEE Main 2019 with at least 2,24,000 rank.
JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted on behalf of Joint Admission Board (JAB) to shortlist the candidates for admission into engineering and architecture courses run by IITs, NITs, and ISMs mainly.
Changes Declared for JEE Advanced Last Year
- It will be conducted online.
- GST will be applicable on the application fee.
- JEE Main (Paper 1) marks will be calculated to check the eligibility.
The registration for JEE Advanced 2019 will also start in 1st week of May 2019 and the candidates will be able to register by the 2nd week of May 2019. There will be no correction facility available as the applicants are suggested to cross-check each and every piece of information carefully before submitting the application form.
The documents candidates need to upload for the registration will include 10th & 12th passing certificates and mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), and PIO card (if applicable). Registration fee for JEE Advanced 2019 is Rs. 2600 plus applicable taxes for General & OBC candidates and Rs. 1300 plus taxes for SC/ ST/ PwD and female candidates. Whereas the SAARC country residents and Non-SAARC country natives need to pay USD 160 + GST and USD 300 + GST respectively.
