GCET Important Dates 2019- Directorate of Technical Education, Goa has released the exam dates for B.E and B.Pharma courses. The exam for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted on 7th May 2019, and the Mathematics exam will be held on 8th May 2019. No other dates have been yet released by the exam conducting authority. As soon as the dates for other events are released, we will update it here on this page. Goa Common Entrance Test is an entrance test that is conducted every year by the Directorate of Technical Education for selecting students for the Under-graduate courses in the field of engineering, architecture, nursing and many more. The GCET marks are considered most of the colleges & Universities in Goa for selecting candidates into their organizations. Those students, who are interested to appear for GCET 2019, must submit the application form A before 30 March 2019. Let us know about the important dates so that we can study and be prepared for giving the GCET. This article mentions important dates related to the start & end date of application form, grant of admit card, examination schedule, result declaration, list of Merit, counseling, and allotment of seats among the applicants:

GCET 2019 would be based on Class 12th syllabus of the Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Goa. GCET 2019 exam would cover questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Each of these subjects would have 75 questions each of 1 mark and the candidates would have 2 hours to answer all of them. The candidates need to tick their answers upon the ORS (Objective Response Sheets). Now, let’s proceed with the GCET important dates 2019.

    The following are the tentative GCET important dates 2019 related to the GCET 2019:

    Application Form Release date 25 March 2019
    Application Form submission last date & receiving Admit Card 30 March 2019
    Application Form submission last date & receiving Admit Card (along with the late fee) April 2019
    Entrance Exam Date

    For B.E. and B.Pharma-

    • 7th May 2019- Physics and Chemistry
    • 8th May 2019-Mathematics
    Entrance Exam Result Declaration June 2019
    Start of Counselling June 2019

    The official notification, according to GCET important dates 2019, is released in November 2018, for informing the candidates about the GCET 2019 exams. This would be followed by the release of the Prospectus and Application form on 25 March 2019. The candidates would be allowed to submit their Form A application form till 30 March 2019. The candidates would also be able to submit their Application Form A along with late fee (around Rs. 1,500) at the end of the Month of April if they miss the last date.

    After all this, the GCET exam would be conducted on 7 & 8 May 2019. Knowing the GCET important dates 2019 for post-exam events is also imperative. This would be followed by the release of the Answer Keys, in order to facilitate candidates so that they can know about their mistakes and can estimate their marks. The entrance exam results would be declared in the next month, i.e., in June 2019. This would be followed by the fill up of Form B for the counselling of the shortlisted candidates. After Form B is submitted the eligibility list for counselling would be declared. Then, the candidates would be invited for the first round of counselling in June 2019. After the first round of counselling, two more round will also be held.

    Unlike IIT or NIT, the aspirants do not require achieving the high score in JEE advance to clear GCET. Having a decent score in our 12th exams & JEE main would help us to achieve our goals in GCET.
