AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 – JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), Kakinada is responsible for determining the AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2019. For admissions into the available B.Tech engineering seats, it is important for candidates to satisfy the AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2019. Nationality, educational qualification, Age, domicile, and many other factors of the candidate need to be similar to the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria 2019. All of the required qualifications have to be met by the candidates.

Scholarship

The application forms of ineligible candidates will be rejected by the AP EAMCET admission authorities. Therefore, all candidates are prescribed to go through the AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 before moving towards filling the application form and submitting it. The application form of AP EAMCET 2019 will be available from the 2nd week of February 2019. AP EAMCET 2019 examination will be conducted for eligible candidates from the 4th week of April 2019. Eligibility for Engineering Courses:

    The eligibility criteria for Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), B.Sc. [Agriculture Engineering], B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], segments are given below:

    Nationality:

    • Candidates should be a Citizen of India, He/ She can be Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

    Domicile Requirement:

    • All of the candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. It is important for the candidates to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as per the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

    Qualification Criteria: 

    • Candidates should be intermediate (12th) or equivalent exam pass or pursuing final year with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects as mains from any recognized board of Andhra Pradesh.
    • Candidates who have completed or appearing in Diploma in engineering courses can also apply.
    • For Pharm-D course, candidates should be intermediate (12th) or equivalent exam qualified or pursuing final year with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects as optional.
    • Candidates belonging to Diploma in Pharmacy can also apply for Pharm-D course.
    • Cut-off percentage of marks for general candidates would be nearly about 45% while for the reserved category candidates the cut off percentage would be nearly 40%in the core subjects.

    Age Criteria:

    • For engineering and pharmacy courses, students must have completed 16 years age as or on 31stDecember of the year of admission. No upper age limitation for these courses.
    • For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses candidates should cross the minimum age limit of 17 years as on 31stDecember of the year of admission and 22 years age maximum age limit for general and 25 years for SC and ST candidates.
    • Candidates for Pharm-D course should at least have 17 years of age.

    Eligibility for Agriculture & Medical Courses:

    The eligibility criteria for B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T), B.Pharma courses are given here:

    Nationality:

    • A candidate should be a Citizen of India, He/ She can be Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. 

    Domicile Requirement

    • All of the candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. It was important for the candidates to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as per the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

    Qualification Criteria:

    • For B.Pharma, candidates should have cleared their Intermediate or are appearing in the final year of intermediate with Biology, Chemistry & Physics subjects.
    • For Agriculture courses, candidates should be intermediate (12th) or equivalent exam pass or pursuing final year with any two/ three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below: 

    B.Sc. (Ag.) & B.Sc. (Hort):

    • Physical Sciences
    • Biological or Natural Sciences
    • Agriculture
    • Vocational Course in Agriculture 

    B.V.Sc. & A.H:

    • Physical sciences
    • Biological or Natural Sciences
    • Vocational Courses in Veterinary Sciences 

    B.F.Sc:

    • Physical Sciences
    • Biological or Natural Sciences
    • Vocational Courses in Fishery Sciences 

    B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Pharmacy & Pharm-D:

    • Mathematics
    • Physical Sciences or Physical Sciences
    • Biological or Natural sciences

    Age Criteria:

    • As on 31stDecember of the year of admission, candidates should have completed 17 years of age.
    • As on 31st December of the year of admission the upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates.
    • As on 31stDecember of the year of admission, B.pharma candidates should have completed 16 years of age.

    AP EAMCET 2019 Reservation of Seats

    In AP EAMCET 2019 Reservation of Seats will be provided to:

    • 6% reservation in the non-minority institutes and relaxation of 15% in professional unaided non-minority institutes will be provided to the Scheduled Caste (SC).
    • Reservation of 25% according to AP EAMCET 2019 Seat Reservation will be provided to Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates.
    • 3% horizontal reservation in ST, SC and OBC categories will be provided to Physically Handicapped (PH) category with hearing, visualizing and orthopedic disabilities.
    • 2% Reservation of Seats will also be available for the candidates whose father will be working under BSF, CRPF and staying in Andhra Pradesh at least from last 5 years or is an Ex-serviceman.
    • Candidates of different sections as per the Seat Reservation of AP EAMCET 2019 will be provided reservation if they fall in below mentioned criteria:
    1. 1% seat reservation will be provided in the exam to active participants of NCC
    2. Candidates will also be able to get a reservation of 0.5% in sports quota under games category.
    3. Female candidates from any of the category or section will be provided the reservation of 33%.

    Applicants must notice that the reservation norms will not be applicable if the candidates are selected on the basis of the merit and if the total female candidates are lesser, then their reservation will be passed on to the male applicants of the same category.
