UPSC and MPPSC dates clash.

Those candidates who are currently preparing for their UPSC and MPPSC examinations are currently stumped as the preliminary examination of MPPSC 2015 is scheduled to be held on the 20th of December 2015 which is clashing with the dates of the UPSC mains examination which is scheduled to be conducted from the 18th of December 2015.

Vikas Verma who is a civil services aspirant stated that “Such a schedule should have been avoided by the MPPSC. It should have ensured that the dates did not clash with other similar and important exams. I am from Bhopal and preparing for UPSC mains in New Delhi. Now, it will not be possible for me to write the MPPSC prelims as I had opted for Bhopal centre in the application.”

The UPSC will be conducting the examinations from the 18th of December 2015 which will stretch on till the next 5 days. The students who are concerned have planned to write to the MPPSC, Indore urging them to change the examination dates.

On being contacted the MPPSC secretary Mr. Manohar Dubey claimed that they would rectify the issue in the case of exam dates clash. Dubey claimed that “Schedule was announced after taking all necessary precautions. But, we can shift the exam dates to help students. That should not be a problem.”
