UPSC 2015 NDA and NA (II) Exam Dates on the 27th of September

UPSC 2015 NDA and NA (II) Exam Dates – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be holding the NDA and NA (II) examination on the 27th of September 2015. The candidates will be required to download the admit cards as soon as possible as there are a few days left for the commencement of the exams.

The examination will be conducted for the purpose of enrolling interested and eligible candidates to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 136th Course and for the 98th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) that will be commencing from the 2nd of July next ear.

Those candidates who will get selected to join the Indian Naval Academy will have to undergo 4 years of B.Tech course and will be given an opportunity to join the executive and technical branches of the navy subject to availability of vacancies.

These vacancies are provisional and is liable to be changed depending on the availability of training capacity of the NDA.

UPSC 2015 NDA and NA (II)  Eligibility

NDA (Army Wing): the candidates who wish to apply for this post must ensure that they must have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university.

NDA (Air Force and Navy) and Class 12 Cadet Entry Scheme at the INA: The candidates who wish to apply for this course must ensure that they must have completed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a state education board or a university.

Those candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination are also considered eligible to appear for this examination. They are required to submit proof of passing Class 12.

Basic eligibility criteria:

The candidate is required to be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan / Tibetan refugees migrated to India before January1, 1962 and currently permanent residents, are also eligible.

Exam pattern:

The paper will consist of objective type questions which will be based on Mathematics, General and Ability Test. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. The exam will carry a weightage of 900 marks.
