GATE 2016 Registrations to conclude on the 1st of October

GATE 2016 Registrations  – The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will be holding the Graduate Aptitude test or Engineering – GATE 2016 for the current upcoming session. The registrations are schedule to be concluded on the 1st of October 2015. The candidates can view the details via the official website the link for which is gate.iisc.ernet.in.

Those candidates who do wish to apply must ensure that they possess either of the following degrees:

Admission Notification 2017

  • Apply online courses offered by Chandigarh University - Apply Now
  • Apply online courses offered by SRM University - Apply Now
  • Application forms are available for Bennett University – Apply Now
  • Admission 2017 open for Alliance University – Apply Now
  • E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.
  • Arch.
  • Sc.(Research)/B.S.
  • Sc./M.A./MCA or equivalent
  • M.E/M.Tech(Post-B.Sc.)
  • M.E./ M.Tech or Dual Degree(after Diploma or 10+2)
  • M.Sc/Int. B.S.-M.S.
  • Professional Society Examinations (equivalent to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch.)

 

GATE 2016 Application process

Those candidates who are deemed eligible as well as are interested can apply via the official website and the candidates should make note of the fact that they are not required to send any hard copy of their application form/documents etc., to IISc or any of the IIT’s zonal GATE 2016 office.

This particular time a new paper Petroleum Engineering (PE) has been introduced in the GATE 2016 and inclusive of this additional paper the total numbers of the papers have now increased to 23. The candidates will be able to view the answer keys for the same via the official website and each and every answer key can be challenged in the case of any discrepancy.

An online virtual calculator can be accessible to the candidates at the time of the examination so the candidates aren’t required to carry a physical calculator to the exam venue as it won’t be permitted.

The GATE 2016 Examination is jointly administered via the seven Indian Institute of Technology namely the IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee.
