The members of the SDSF that’s led by Mr. Santoshkumar who is the secretary of the federation called on C.Swaminathan who is the vice chancellor of Periyar University and S.Leela who is the controller of exams and thanked them on their enterprise.

A .T. Kannan, president, Namakkal district unit of The Students federation of India (SFI) has also welcomed the initiative claiming that the results via SMS has widely benefited the rural students as a majority of the students studying in the government and other affiliated colleges hail from rural areas and do not have access to internet connectivity though however even if the students do not own a cell phone at least one family member will be owning one and have active SMS services which will reduce hassles for students.
