The chances of securing a seat in Delhi University is still on the cards as it has recently announced its Fourth cut off list for admissions to it UG programmes on July 9th.
The seats for the popular courses are still deemed vacant a majority of the colleges have seats empty with the most recent cut off witnessing a negligible drop in rates needed for confirmation.
Students can still get admission into DU.
Sri Ram College, Lady Sri Ram College and Daulat Ram College have already shut all admissions for the courses for the general category though at SRCC Economics (H) is still open in the fourth list at 97.37%. Kirori Mal College has shut down most of the courses in the Arts section except for Political Science (H) at 94.25%.
The Commerce courses like Economics (H) and B.Com (H) are still available at 96.25%with a maximum drop of 0.5%
Gargi College has also released its cutoff with an average dip of 0.5% in most courses and English (H), B.Com (H) and Application Psychology (H) courses are still open at 93.75%, 93.25% and 93.5% respectively.
There is still availability of seats for B.Com at ARSD college (97%), Aryabhatta college, Deshbandhu College and College of Vocational Studies (95) and Gargi College (95.25), Hansraj College (95.5) among others.
Four colleges namely Janki Devi Memorial College, SGND Khalsa, SGTB Khalsa and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, which had failed to release the third cut off list in view of Delhi High Court judgment granting them a minority status have now been listed in the fourth list.
According to the notification sent by the college those under studies who have qualified in the past rundown under general and PWD classes can also apply for admissions and as per admission guidelines those students who meet the qualifying criteria can take admissions under the fourth list tomorrow.
The next cut off list is scheduled on July 14th.
