The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2015 registration process to close on the 19th of August and those candidates who are interested as well as eligible are urged to hurry with the application process.

The CTET is slated to be held on the 20th of September and the responsibility of the conduction of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is vested on to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi via the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The test is conducted bi-annually and is conducted for the second time this particular year. The first conduction of CTET was held on the 22nd of February. CTET is considered as just one of the eligibility criterion for the appointment or recruitment as a teacher.
The CTET is conducted as an entrance test to shortlist the eligible candidates for the appointment as a teacher for the Classes 1 to 8. The CTET qualifying certificate for the appointment to a teaching position in a school is valid for seven years from the date of the CTET result declaration.
The candidates can take as many attempts for the CTET examination as there is no restriction on the number of attempts. The candidates can also attempt the CTET examination even after qualifying it if they wish to improve their score. Those candidates who secure 60% and above will be considered as qualified.
