Change in timings of the skill test for SSC Combined Higher Secondary level exam

Those students who qualified in the written examination for the Combined Higher Secondary Level exam 2015 will now be required to appear for a skill test as well as a data entry test . There have been some changes introduced regarding the timings of the same.

As per the latest addendum that was released via the SSC the candidates including the VH (Visually Handicapped) will be permitted to appear and qualify their post written examinations in the following time frames.

Changed Timings

Typing test for LDC

This will be inclusive of an English typing test that will have to be done at 35 words per minute within a total time frame of 10 minutes. The total time that would be permitted for VH candidates will be 30 minutes.

In case of typing in Hindi the candidates will be required a speed of 30 words per minute to be completed in a total time frame of 10 minutes. The total time permitted to the VH candidate will only be 30 minutes.

The typing test is mandatory for all those candidates who wish to get selected in the post of LDC (Lower Division Clerks).

Data entry skill test

The new timings for the data entry skill test are 15 minutes for all the 2000 to 2200 strokes or keys per depression. The VH candidates will have to do the same in a span of 35 minutes.

All the applicants who do get selected in the post for Data Entry Operator should participate in the Data entry skills for final selections.
