AIPMT 2015 upgraded security checks for re-exam

The official notice for the All India Pre-Dental test re-examination that announced the 25th of July as the date was passed by the Central Board of Secondary Education and the exam will be held from 10am to 1pm.

The candidates who will be appearing for the AIPMT will receive exam details like centre of examination and the roll no’s via email and SMS service. The admit cards that they receive will have all the dos and don’ts mentioned on it and also the photograph of the candidate will be placed differently in order to ensure that the candidate doesn’t misuse the earlier admit cards.

Candidates will have to go through stringent frisking.

The CBSE has also asked the students to come in light clothes without any big buttons and open footwear instead of shoes. Also it has barred rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, pendants and even watches at the examination center.

The candidates are asked to strictly follow the new dress code and to arrive earlier for the exam as they will have to undergo strict frisking. The invigilators have been given strict instructions to check the ears of all the candidates with the help of a torchlight which will ensure that no communication device such as a Bluetooth is infiltrated into the examination hall. The candidates will also be directed to wear clothes and shoes of similar colour and will be prohibited from wearing jackets or scarves. Not observing the dress code could lead to debarment from the exam.

Also a written letter has been sent to the Home Ministry by the CBSE seeking for paramilitary forces at the center in order to ensure tight security and the local police as well are being deployed in order to maintain decorum.

In all around 6.3 lakh candidates had registered for AIPMT 2015 and the board has made it clear that the retest will only be conducted for those candidates who have already registered.
