27,000 Engineering Seats Remain Unoccupied

Post the third and final round of admissions for the degree and the engineering, there were around 27,289 seats that were still left unoccupied. Post the last date for the payment of fees the whole list of the vacant seats will be announced on the 12th of August.

Those students who are interested in getting admission will have to contact colleges

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has claimed that the third round has been concluded and not the list will be handed over to the colleges and those students who are interested will then have to contact the individual colleges for the purpose of admission.

The officials of the Admission Committee for the Professional Courses claimed that of the 61, 608 seats that were initially available with the committee only around 46,062 students were allotted seats post the first round of admission.  After the conclusion of the first round there were around 29,617 seats available as only31, 991 students had either confirmed their respective admission or had paid the fees.

The officials stated that on Monday the allocations of the second round of the admission process were declared and post that there were still around 22, 742 seats that were unoccupied. The officials also stated that the number is bound to increase as not all the students who have been allotted the seats will in fact confirm their admission.
