CUSAT 2018 – Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kerala conducts Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission in various courses such as B.Tech, M.Sc (Photonics, Computer Science, Marine), BBA LL.B., B.Com LL.B., MA, MIP-PhD, LLM-PhD, MCA/MCA (Lateral Entry ), LLB, MVoc, MFSc, etc. CUSAT University provides admissions in three affiliated campuses in various diploma/degree and certificate courses through the entrance tests. The scores of GATE Examination are accepted at the time of admission to CUSAT 2018 University.

CUSAT 2018 Exam Dates

    The following are the Important Dates of CUSAT 2018:

    Online Application Submission Begins. 3rd Week of January 2018*.
    Online Application Submission Ends. 3rd Week of February 2018* (for Indian and NRI Candidates) and 4th Week of April 2018* (International Candidates/PIO/Children of Indian Gulf Workers).
    Availability of Admit Card. 3rd Week of April 2018*.
    Examination Date. 4th Week of April 2018* to 1st Week of May 2018*.
    Declaration of DAT Application Form for PhD, M Phil & Diploma Programmes.

     

    3rd Week of January 2018* to 3rd Week of February 2018*.
    Result Declaration. 5th Week of May 2018*.

    CUSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

    The Candidates should check the CUSAT Eligibility Criteria 2018 which is provided below:

    Course Qualification Eligibility
    B.Tech Marine Engineering
    • Qualified for 10+2 examination held by the state of Kerala or an equivalent examination with PCM and English subjects and should score at least 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in Mathematics.
    • Qualified English subject at 10th and 12th standard with 50% marks.
    • Candidate’s Age should not be more than 25 years as on 1st September 2018.
    B.Tech/5-year Integrated M.Sc in Photonics
    • Pass 12th examination from the Kerala state or equivalent examination with PCM.
    • Minimum 50% marks are required in Mathematics and 50% marks in PCM.
    BBA/LL.B. (Hons)/B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.)
    • Plus two examinations with 60%marks for science group and 55% marks for Arts/Commerce/Humanities group.
    • Maximum age is 20 years as on 1st July 2018 and 22 years for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
    LL.B.
    • Qualified Graduation from any recognised University with a score of 40% and 35% for SC/ST.
    • Candidates appearing are also eligible to apply.
    MCA
    • Qualified graduation with Science stream and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
    • Qualified graduation in Electronics/Computer Applications/ Information Technology /Computer Science  /Engineering/Technology with 55% aggregate marks.
    M VOC in Technology and Management Consulting
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 60% marks in MBA or B.Voc degree with at least 60% marks.
    LL.M.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Law with minimum 45% marks.

    CUSAT 2018 Application form 2018

    • The CUSAT Application Form 2018 will be available on the official website of CUSAT tentatively from 2nd week of February 2018.
    • The Candidates will have to fill the Application form and pay the fees online.
    • Candidates applying on the basis of MAT or GATE score must submit the soft copy of their scorecard on the website.
    • Students applying for M.Phill, Ph.D., Diploma, PG Diploma & certificate programmes will get the printed application in person or through the post from the concerned authority.

    Application Fee:

    The CUSAT Application Fee can be paid Online by visiting the official website through Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking. TheApplication fee for various categories of candidates is listed below:

    CUSAT 2018 Syllabus

    • CUSAT Syllabus is not any such fixed for examination.
    • As there, is no fixed Syllabus candidates should practice the previous year’s questions and must have a basic knowledge of the subjects that they studied earlier (10th and 12th class)and are currently studying now.

    CUSAT 2018 Admit Card

    • The CUSAT Admit Card 2018 will be issued tentatively from the third week of April 2018.
    • Candidates can get the admit card on the official website of CUSAT.
    • The Admit Card can be downloaded from the CUSAT website by entering details like Name and Roll Number.
    • Aspirants are requested to take a printout of the Admit Card and bring along at the time of Examination.

    CUSAT 2018 Result

    The CUSAT Result 2018 will be declared tentatively in the last week of May 2018. Candidates can check their CUSAT Result by visiting the official website and entering their roll number. A printout should be taken by candidates for further use.

    CUSAT 2018 Counselling

    • The CUSAT Counselling 2018 will tentatively start from the third week of May until the third week of July 2018.
    • The counselling procedure will be published on the official website of CUSAT.
    • Candidates can fill their choices from various courses available at the time of counselling.
    • The allotment of seats depends upon the choice filled by candidates and by the availability of seats.
