CMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria
You are no stranger to the various conditions via the examination on the student in order to successfully apply for the exam. So lets view the CMAT Eligibility Criteria.
All candidates from any discipline (General category) having obtained a minimum 50% in their 3 year graduation course or equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD can apply. Those who have appeared can also apply by submitting their certificates before the commencement of the programme.
A score of 45% is considered if the applicant is of a reserved category.

The candidate will have to pay Rs. 1400* (General category) & Rs. 700* (SC, ST and PD category) towards the CMAT examination fees. *Bank charges extra as applicable
In order to complete the transaction you will need to visit the AICTE CMAT 2018 website and pay via Credit or Debit card or Net banking. Cash is also accepted in any SBI branch. You can also pay through a challan generated online.

CMAT Exam Pattern

The questions in CMAT 2018 are divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions.
The questionnaire is divided into the following questions and each section carries 25 questions having a maximum of 100 marks.
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
- Logical reasoning
- Language comprehension
- General awareness
You will score 4 marks for each right answer and lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.
You can also swap to any section at any point in time during the exam as per your convenience.
The Quantitative techniques section covers subjects such as Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Number Systems, Set Theory, Permutations & Combinations and other miscellaneous topics.
In Data Interpretation, the subjects covered are tables calculation, Line & Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Case lets based DI, Combination Tables/Graphs, Reasoning – Tables, Graphs and miscellaneous or Non classifiable concepts & Unusual Graphs
In Logical Reasoning, the topics covered are Circular, Linear, , Blood Relations & Family Trees, Groupings Tabular Arrangements, Visual Reasoning, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Reasoning Series, Truth / Lies and multiple other concepts and miscellaneous or Non Classifiable concepts.
Reading Comprehension covers topics based on: Passage Structure, Inference Fact, Tone, Main Idea or Title or Author, Attitude, or miscellaneous type passages.
General Knowledge (GK) covers informational topics from news, sports, history, etc
