  • If you are appearing for the CG PET 2018 exam you must understand the pattern of the exam, so that you don’t face any problem when in the examination. The CG PET exam pattern is based on the objective style, 150 questions must be answered in a span of 3 hours.

    The paper is based on the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. There are negative marks given to incorrect answers. You must note that the exam pattern of CG PET described above is based on the previous year pattern, and may change as per the guidelines issued by DTE, Chhattisgarh.

    Courses – CG PET 2018 is conducted to get admissions in UG engineering courses, candidates will get admission in B. Tech courses

    Duration – The exam duration will be 3 hours

    Subjects – The important and must subjects for this examination are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the question will be asked from these subjects only.

    Syllabus – Candidates are requested to revise 12th syllabus as the syllabus for CG PET 2018 will be like the syllabus of higher secondary examination.

    Number of Question – There will be a total of 150 question (50 question from each subject) in this examination and which are compulsory for the candidates to attempt.

    Question Types – The question paper will have objective type questions (multiple choices) with an optional answer for each question where candidate are requested to choose their correct answer by ticking the option.

    Marking Scheme – Candidate can score 1 mark for every single correct answer, 1 mark is given for the correct answer.

    Negative Marking – CG PET 2018 examination has negative marking scheme, 1 negative marking for every incorrect answer, 1 mark minus for every wrong answer.
