The result of CBSE NET (National Eligibility Test) July 2016 is likely to be released this week. The test was held in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET examination cities and the registrations will start from October 17.
The result of CBSE NET (National Eligibility Test) July 2016 is predicted to be released this week. The exam was held on July 10 all over the country except for Srinagar, Where it took place on July 28. The test was held in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET examination cities.
The CBSE organizes NET twice a year on behalf of UGC in order to select students for the role of assistant professor/lecturer and for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). The Test is organized in humanities (including languages), computer science, forensic science, social science, environmental sciences and applications and electronic science.
The registrations for NET 2017 would start from October 17. The exam for Junior Research and Assistant Professor is planned to be held on January 22, 2017.
The exam will be segregated into three papers:
- Paper 1: This paper will be conducted for duration of 1 hour 15 minutes and will comprise of 60 questions, it is necessary for the students to attempt 50 questions. It will carry a total of 100 marks
- Paper 2: Test will be held for duration of one hour 15 minutes and will consist of 50 questions. It will carry a total of 100 marks
- Paper 3: Will be for a duration of two hours and 30 minutes and will have 75 questions. It will carry a total of 150 marks
