A notification has been declared for the Jammu and Kashmir candidates about the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016 at the official website. Taking the current situation prevailing in the state into consideration, an unusual arrangement has been provided by fixing exam centre at Jammu for the all the students of Srinagar (J&k) only.
A notification has been declared for the Jammu and Kashmir candidates regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016 at the authorized website .The examination is scheduled to be held on September 18 for all those who want to be selected as a teacher for std 1 to std 8.
In total there are 5 examination centres in Jammu and one in Srinagar for the 10th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test. But taking into consideration, an alternative arrangement an alternative arrangement has been done by fixing exam centre at Jammu for the students of Srinagar (J&K) only. Students can appear from one of the cities, either from Jammu or Srinagar.
The admit cards for the exam were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on August 17.
- Paper I will be for an individual who intends to be a teacher for class I to V. It will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm
- Paper II will be for an individual who intends to be a teacher for standard VI to VIII. It will be held in the morning session from 9.30 am to 12 pm
Individual test on any other day would not be conducted. So, all the candidates of Srinagar (J&K) have the option to decide any one of the exam centres either in Srinagar (J&K) or in Jammu.
Candidates can appear at any of the below mentioned examination centre.
