XAT 2020 Application Form- XLRI, the conducting body of XAT will release the application form for XAT 2020 in the month of August 2019 in online mode merely. Candidates who have made the mindset to pursue postgraduate management program such as MBA, PGDM, etc. need to fill the application form to apply for the exam. But prior to filling the application form, candidates ought to go through the eligibility criteria laid by the examination conducting authority in order to ensure that the candidates fulfill all the requirements. While filling the application form, applicants have to submit both their personal as well as educational details along with the scanned photograph and signature. Also, unless the remittance of the application fee is paid, the application form will not be submitted successfully. Thus, for the successful submission, pay the application in online mode through the credit card, debit card or net banking. Moreover, post completion of the whole process, it is mandatory for the candidates to take the print out of the confirmation page and keep it safe for the further usage. XAT 2020 Important Dates

The important dates for XAT 2020 events are not released yet and based on the previous year, we have provided the tentative dates for all the events related to XAT 2020. However, once the dates for XAT 2020 events get updated, we will update the same on a priority basis. XAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria – Highlights

  • As per the criteria laid by the examination conducting authority, candidates must possess the Bachelor degree of 3 or 4 years from any of the recognized universities across the country
  • Candidates who are in the final year of the graduation can also apply for the XAT 2020
  • Further, the foreign national candidates and NRI candidates except those from Dubai and Nepal can also apply for XAT 2020 through their GMAT scores.
  • Most importantly, no age limit is set for the candidates for upper or lower age

    XAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria – Program-wise

    Below-mentioned are the program-wise eligibility criteria which are set by the examination regulating body i.e. XLRI. Thus, the candidates must check accordingly as per their choice and the course they will be choosing further:

    For Human Resource Management (HRM) Program

    • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree of 3 or 4 years of time duration in any discipline from any recognized university across the country
    • Those appearing in the final year of the graduation can also apply for the XAT 2020 exam

    For Business Management Program

    • Candidates should have completed their graduation from any of the recognized college/universities/institutes
    • Moreover, those who are still in the final year of the graduation are also eligible to apply for the same

    For General Management Program

    • Candidates must have done with the graduation from any of the recognized universities in the country or overseas with managerial or supervisory experience of 5-year
    • Also, the candidates can apply through their XAT or GMAT score (if the candidates had appeared in the exam in between 1st December 2016 to 20th December 2018

    Procedure to fill the XAT 2020 Application Form

    The application form for XAT 2020 will begin from 3rd week of August 2019 in online mode.  Before proceeding to fill the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria to ensure that they fulfill the criteria that have been laid by the examination conducting authority. Now, to fill the application form, candidates have to go through 4 processes that involve completion of the registration process, filling up of the application form, uploading the required documents, payment of the application fee. Thus, to check the details, go through the following:

    Step 1: Completion of the Registration Process

    • Firstly, visit the official website of XAT and on the home page, click on the option to register as a new user
    • Candidates will be redirected to the new page wherein a dialog box will appear and they have to enter their basic personal details such as name, date of birth, valid email address
    • Post submitting these details, the login credentials will be generated and will be sent to the registered email address and mobile number of the candidates

    Step 2: Filling up the application form

    • Using the credentials which were generated after the completion of the registration process, the candidates can fill the form where they have to provide both their personal as well as educational details.
    • Apart from this, candidates can also select their choice of exam centres to appear for XAT 2020
    • Furthermore, candidates should check if all the entered details are correct and in case of discrepancy, rectify it before by thumping the ‘submit’ button

    Step 3: Uploading the Important Documents

    • Post-filling all the details, upload the required documents such as the scanned photograph, signature in the prescribed format which is mentioned below:

    Step 4: Payment of the Application Fee

    • Lastly, make the payment of the application fee of Rs. 1700/- in online mode i.e. using the credit card, debit card or internet banking with 300/- per XLRI program fee
    • However, if the candidate remits the application fee before the deadline, no extra charge or any late fine will be imposed whereas, in case of delay, candidate have to pay the late fine of Rs. 2000/- and 500/- per XLRI program.

    Guidelines to be followed while filling the application form

    • Candidates must ensure that they meet the requirements set by the examination regulating body
    • Compile all the required documents containing both personal and qualification details of the candidates
    • To fill the application form in online mode, keep the desktop with good internet or Wifi connection to avoid any kind of interruption whilst filling the form
    • For the payment of the XAT 2020 application fee, candidates have to use their credit card, debit card or net banking details. Thus, gather the details before making the payment
    • Also, post submitting the application form, take the hard copy and keep it safe for the further reference
