XAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria – Candidates intended to appear in the entrance test of XAT for the year 2019 must check the eligibility criteria before proceeding for filling up the application form. The eligibility criteria are set up by the examination conducting authority that usually remains the same every year. Therefore, candidates ought to go through the eligibility criteria according to which the candidates should have completed their graduation from the recognized university. Moreover, candidates who are pursuing their final year of graduation or are waiting for the declaration of the result of graduation are also eligible for the same.   • No minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates if completed his/her graduation of 3-4 years from any of the recognized universities are eligible to appear in the entrance test of XAT.
  • Applicable for Final Year Candidates: Candidates who are in the final year of graduation and completes the same by June 10, 2019, can also apply for XAT 2019.
  • Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates: As it is obligatory for all the domestic candidates to appear in the XAT exam in order to seek admission in any of the participating institutes of XLRI for MBA or PGDM programs but those candidates hailing from foreign countries have the relaxation as they can apply through their GMAT scores. Moreover, candidates from Dubai and Kathmandu can either appear in the XAT 2019 exam or can apply through their GMAT scores.
  • Certificate Required for Final Year Candidates: Candidates of final year if qualify the examination of XAT 2019 will get admission provisionally by providing the certificate from the Principal or Registrar of the college stating that the particular candidate has completed all the requirements to acquire the Bachelor’s degree on the date of the issue of certificate, he/she can apply then for XAT 2019.
  • No Age Bar: Candidates of any age fulfilling the above-mentioned requirements can apply for XAT 2019 as there is no upper or lower age limit prescribed by XLRI, the conducting body of XAT.

    Human Resource Management

    The applicants need to have a Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years of course duration or equivalent degree in any branch from the reputed college/ university/institute. The candidates who are still in their graduation final year exam by June 10, 2019, are also permitted to apply for XAT exam 2019.

    Business Management

    The eligibility criteria for Business management are the same as that of Human Resource management.

    General Management Programme

    The applicants need to have a Bachelor’s degree in India or abroad with a minimum experience of 5 years as the managerial or supervisory by March 31, 2019. The candidates are free to apply through XAT 2019 score or GMAT score provided the examination date will fall between December 1, 2016, and December 20, 2018.

    Why is it Important to Check Eligibility Criteria for XAT 2019 Before Applying?
