TISSNET 2018 Selection Procedure
TISSNET exam is conducted to screen the right candidates for M.A and full time PG courses offered by TISS. The candidates who qualify the marks in entrance exam are shortlisted for the next round. The cutoff is released along with the result. The selection procedure comprises of two-steps, in the first stage TISSNET exam is held and the second stage comprises of the PIT – GD and PI round. The shortlisted candidates are then called to face the next round. Based on the performance in the entrance exam, PIT and PI round the final merit list is announced for the admission.
About TISSNET
TISSNET, the national level entrance exam is conducted by TISS or Tata Institute of Social Sciences to screen the candidates for admission in 55 Masters in Social Science programs run at TISS. The TISS campuses are positioned in the cities such as Mumbai, Guwahati, Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Chennai, these institutes will accept the TISSNET 2018 scores. TISSNET 2018 was scheduled on January 6 across 39 cities in the country. The test paper was divided into four sections and consists of objective type question and the medium of the exam was English.
