SNAP 2019- SNAP stands for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test which is convened by Symbiosis International University (SIU) per year. This national level entrance exam is conducted with a purpose to shortlist the candidates for different MBA programs in diverse disciplines, run by SIU. Apart from Symbiosis International University, there are other participating Symbiosis institutes that validate SNAP Score Card to consider the admission applications of the candidates. The number of Symbiosis Institutes across the country is 15. SNAP 2019 Exam notification will be released by the apex body in the mid of August 2019.     SNAP 2019 Application Form

    SNAP 2019 Application Form will be made available by the conducting body online only for different PG-level management programs. SNAP registration for the year 2019 will commence from mid-August and the last date for the same would fall in November 2019. The aspirants will have to feed the application form with personal details as well as their academic credentials. It will be a 3-step application form.     How to Register for SNAP 2019?

    The candidates need to follow the below steps to submit the SNAP 2019 application form to take SIU Entrance Exam:

    • Find the official website and visit it.
    • Click on “New Register” button and hit “Agree”.
    • Feed the form with personal, academic, and other asked details.
    • Hit ‘Save & Continue’ and you will receive OTP on your mobile and registered mail ID.
    • Enter OTP and submit the application form.
    • A Unique SNAP ID & Password will be generated and shared on your mobile & registered mail ID.
    • You can pay the application fee either online or through a Demand Draft (DD)
    • Now you can proceed to Part 2 of registration where the aspirants need to select programs & colleges.

    Application Fee of SNAP 2019

    The candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 1750. There is no relaxation in any specific category and the fee will remain the same for the students of all categories. Fee can be paid either online or through offline mode. Find below the information about the fee payment process through both modes:

    Online Mode: Fee is acceptable through Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking.

    Offline Mode: Fee can also be paid through a DD of requisite amount, which should be issued in favor of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ and payable at Pune.

    Remarks- A separate fee of Rs. 1000 will be applicable for each program candidates would apply for in their desired participating institute. While paying through DD, it will be Rs 1180.

    SNAP 2019 Application Form for Foreign Nationals

    The application form of SNAP 2019 will be accepted from foreign nationals as well. Symbiosis International University will release a centralized merit list representing all the registered foreign candidates. All the foreign nationals need to go through the 3 steps- SNAP 2019 Application Form Registration, Verification of the Documents, and checking the generated SNAP 2019 Merit List.

    After the successful submission of application form, the students will have to select the participating institutes as per their preference. For choosing the participating institutes, candidates need to visit their individual websites in an order. Application form can be referred to collect the information of the institutes that will grant admission on the basis of SNAP 2019 score.

    SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    The authority will structure the eligibility criteria for SNAP 2019, which the aspirants need to fulfill to take this exam. Read the below information to know more about SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

    Nationality

    • Candidates need to be Indian citizens to be eligible for SNAP 2019.
    • There will be a separate admission process for foreign nationals.

    Age

    • There are no age criteria defined by the apex body i.e. SIU.

    Academic Qualification

    An aspirant needs to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% in any stream. A relaxation of 5% would be given to the reserved categories.

    The students in the final year of their graduation or waiting for their results can also apply.

    SNAP 2019 Admit Card

    SNAP 2019 Admit Card is expected to be released 2 weeks before the exam date. The SNAP Hall Tickets would be made available online only and the candidates will need to download the same. No examinee will get an entry in the exam hall without carrying the admit card. Follow the below steps to download the admit card of SNAP 2019:

    • Visit the official website of SNAP (snaptest.org)
    • Find the ‘Download Admit Card’ tab and click it
    • Fill your User ID, Password, and Security Code and login to your personal dashboard.
    • Your SNAP 2019 Admit Card will be visible on the screen.
    • Verify all the details watchfully and get at least 2-3 hard copies of the same.

    SNAP 2019 Exam Centers

    SNAP 2019 is expected to be conducted in all the major cities of India. All the aspirants need to choose their 3 preferred cities where they are willing to appear for the exam. Only the admit card of the applicant will come inscribed with the finalized exam center.

    SNAP 2019 Exam Pattern

    SNAP 2019 will be organized in English language only and it will be a computer-based test. The question paper will carry only objective type questions. Candidates will get 120 minutes to solve the paper and there will be no provision of sectional time limit.

    There will be 4 sections in the paper- Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning.

    The question paper will carry 150 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).

    Every right answer will earn +1 mark for the candidate while ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

    SNAP 2019 Result

    SNAP 2019 Result will be announced most probably by the end of December 2019. The candidates will need to visit the official website of SNAP to check their result and download the SNAP 2019 Scorecard. The scorecard will carry the sectional and scaled marks scored by scored by the individuals. The SNAP Scorecard remains valid for one academic year only. The aspirants need to follow the below steps to check their results:

    • Go to the official website of SNAP
    • Click on the ‘Result’ option
    • Now you need to enter your unique SNAP ID & password to know the result.
    • After logging into your profile, there will be the option to view & download the SNAP Scorecard.
    • Download the scorecard and print it to get the hard copy for further reference.

    Once the results are out, there will a merit list released by the participating institutes and it will be issued according to the performance of the candidates in SNAP 2019. Merit list will include the names of the candidates shortlisted for further rounds i.e. Group Discussions, Personal Interaction, and Written Ability Test (GE – PIWAT). The candidates, who will become successful in making their place in the merit list, need to be present at their concerned institutes as per the schedule.

    SNAP 2019 Selection Process

    The main motive of organizing SNAP 2019 is to screen the right candidates for admission into different MBA programs, run by SIU and the other participating institutes of SNAP. Every participating institute will issue its individual merit list after the SNAP 2019 result declaration.

    The candidates who will succeed in making their place in the merit list will have to undergo the further steps of SNAP 2019 selection procedure- Group Discussions, Personal Interaction, and Written Ability Test (GE – PIWAT).
