Changes in SNAP 2018 Payment of Application Fee

Earlier, the candidates used to pay the application fee after completion of registration and filling up of the application form. But for ongoing year, the candidates while doing the registration have to remit the registration fee of Rs. 1750/-. Previously, the candidates had to pay the amount of Rs. 1750/– along with the additional charges of GST, however, now the candidates only have to pay the basic registration fee as the relaxation of additional charge has laid down.

Transition in SNAP 2018 Exam Pattern

    Now, moving towards the changes over exam pattern, the introduction of Non-MCQ questions has been made.  Beforehand, the total number of 150 questions was asked in the entrance test of SNAP. But, presently, the number of questions has been lessened to 130 in which the diversion in imposed in the form of normal questions containing the multiple choice questions with 4 options allocated for the candidates whereas, another one is special questions of Non-MCQ type.

    However, the total number of 110 normal questions will be asked, 30 questions from each section of General English, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, and 20 in Current Affairs. On the other hand, 5 special questions will be asked in each section. So, the aggregately, 110 questions will be of the normal type and further 20 of special questions. Furthermore, it is mandatory for the candidates to know the updated marking scheme according to which, 1 mark will be awarded for the wrong answer to the normal questions and for a special question, +2 marks will be allotted. Similarly, if any candidates commit a mistake, his/her 0.25 marks will be deducted for normal questions and that of 0.50 marks for the special questions.

    Exclusion from SNAP 2018 Test Cities

    Well, after the changes introduced by the examination conducting officials, not only the changes in registration fee or exam pattern has been done but also the test cities have been lessened to 92 which was formerly 102. Moreover, the candidates hailing from West Bengal or nearby state ought to know that currently, they have to choose Asansol instead of selecting Durgapur as their test city. Thus, the candidates must go through the list of new test cities meticulously before filling the application form so that they do not make any mistake as afterward the candidates will not get chance to bring changes or edit the test cities filled in the application form.
