How to Download the MICAT 2019 Result?
The candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to download the scorecard of either of MICAT I and MICAT II which is very simple. To download the MICAT 2019 result, candidates have to use the login credentials i.e. login id and password.

The process of Short-listing Candidates for GE and PI Round
As the MICAT 2019 result has been declared, the candidates on the basis of the marks acquired in MICAT-I exam will be called for the selection procedure round that involves GE/PI. The institute will issue some guidelines for the selection process. The most important will be the Psychometric Test as it will be the main qualifier of the test. The candidates who will qualify this round will be promoted to the next qualifier. There are a total of 5 qualifiers that the candidates will come across before they are invited for an interview. The whole procedure will be organised by MICA.

- The first qualifier is the Psychometric Test
- Those candidates who qualified this round will have their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores considered. Entirely it depends upon the minimum cutoff which will be set for any of these given examinations.
- The candidates will move towards the next step after they qualify the above two steps based on the scaled scores which will move towards the evaluation of Descriptive Test.
- The candidates will receive the call letter of GEPI round considering all of the qualifiers. The candidates must note that the best score of the MICAT I and MICAT II will be considered for evaluation.
How are Scaled Scores Calculated?
The scaled scores will be calculated when the selection of candidates for GE/PI round will be conducted. The individual score obtained by any candidate in particular component of MICAT I or MICAT II. For example the Quantitative Ability will be converted into scaled score by the formula provided below.
Scaled Score – QA of a candidate in MICAT-I/MICAT-II = (Score – QA of a candidate /Maximum obtained by any candidate amid the candidates who have appeared in MICAT-I/MICAT-II in QA) multiplied by Maximum Possible Score in QA in MICAT-I/MICAT-II. Similarly, scaled scores of all the other sections will be evaluated in this manner.
Group Exercise & Personal Interview
The candidates will have to appear in this section to get admission in the institute. In the Group Exercise round, the candidates will need to perform an activity with a team. The group of candidates will be given an activity to do. The main motive of the GE is to check the team spirit and the capability to work with the team. The candidates will be receiving the scores based on the performance which will be graded out of 5 points. After this section is completed, the candidates will be shifted to the Personal Interview round. The round will test on the basis of personality, knowledge and the passion for pursuing the management programme.
Determining Factors for MICAT Merit List 2019
The authority of the MICAT 2019 will be releasing the final merit list based on the performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the mentioned below rules.
- Majority recommendation by all the panel members of Personal Interview.
- Minimum 3.5 or more on a 5-point scale in Group Exercise.
- At least 4 or more on a 5-point scale in Personal Interview.
