IIM Shillong Cutoff 2019 – The candidates who are willing to take admission in IIM Shillong must qualify CAT exam and meet the cutoff criteria of the institutes. It is the most important information candidates must know to prepare well. The cutoff is the minimum percentile a candidate must score to be eligible for admission in 20 IIMs of India. IIM Shillong accepts CAT scores to provide admission to the desired candidates and releases its cutoff as the result is declared. The participating institutes then release the list of the shortlisted candidates for next round of selection procedure. The next round comprises of WAT and PI round. Candidates must note that every IIM releases its cutoff but the exam conducting authority does not release the cutoff. Hence, the cutoff of each IIM differs.  IIM Shillong does not release the overall cutoff but sectional cutoff. Hence, IIM Shillong releases its cutoff for both CAT as well as for CLASS X, XII and graduation. The sectional cutoff of IIM Shillong is much lesser than other IIMs which range from 80 to 85 percentile. What is IIM Shillong Cutoff 2019?

The cutoff is the minimum percentile or marks required for a candidate to get admission in 20 IIMs of India. IIM Shillong apart from the other IIMs releases its cutoff for both CAT and academic such as for Class 10th, 12th, and graduation. According to IIM Shillong cutoff 2018, the overall percentile setup for general category candidates is 75 in all the three sections and 80% aggregate in class 10th and 12th; SC category must score 60 percentile in all the three sections whereas ST and DA category the candidates must score 50 percentile in all the three sections. For SC category the minimum aggregate required in class 10th and 12th is 55% and 50 % for ST and DA category. The candidates meeting the above criteria will be selected for the next round.     IIM Shillong cutoff 2019 – Selection procedure

    The selection procedure of IIM Shillong comprises of two phases; in the first phase shortlisting of the candidates are done based on the CAT scores for WAT and PI round. In the second stage, a final merit list will be prepared to offer admission in the PGP program. The candidates who qualify the CAT exam will be shortlisted for next round. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for WAT and PI round. After this round is over the institute will prepare the final list to offer admission to the right candidates. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in WAT and PI round along with the CAT scores.     About IIM Shillong

    IIM Shillong also known as Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management was established in the year 2007 is a public autonomous management institute situated in the Shillong, Meghalaya. It is the 7th IIM established by the government of India. IIM Shillong offers two years full-time residential program in  PGPM (Post – Graduate Program in Management, Post Graduate Program for Executives and Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and accepts CAT scores to offer admission. The fee required for the entire session is approx 12.68 lakhs.
