IIM Ahmedabad Admission Criteria 2019 in Detail

    For Post Graduate Diploma Program in Management (PGP)

    The candidates to get into IIM-A for the above-mentioned program have to go through the following selection procedure. Therefore, the candidates for IIM Ahmedabad admission criteria 2019 will have to follow the steps as follow:

    • Firstly, the candidates will have to appear in the CAT exam conducted by IIM (Indian Institute of Management)
    • After clearing the exam of CAT exam, the candidate should fulfill the cutoff criteria released by IIM-A and also the Composite Score (CS) that includes marks of matriculation (10th), intermediate (12th) and graduation. Then, the candidates will get shortlisted for the further selection round that is for Academic Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). Earlier AWT was recognized as WAT but it has changed since 2015.
    • The final Selection for PGP is done on the basis of Final Composite Score (FCS) that includes the calculation of PI, AWT, and CS at the previous stage.

    For Post Graduate Diploma Program- Agri-Business Management (PFP-FABM)

    The selection procedure of the PFP-FABM includes 2 major steps that are below-cited:

    • The candidates for IIM-A must have appeared in either CAT or GMAT exam.
    • The candidates should have scored the marks that meet the required cutoff released by IIM-A will get shortlisted and will be called for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

    For Executive Training Program (PGPX)

    The candidates for the aforementioned program will have to go through the steps as follow:

    • The candidates should have appeared in GMAT exam.
    • Based on the marks scored in GMAT exam along with other application, the candidates get shortlisted.
    • Further, the candidates will have to write an essay on the given topic and will have to go for the interview.
    • After the interview round gets over, the final merit list is prepared.

    For ePost Graduate Program (ePGP)
