IIFT 2019 Exam Analysis

IIFT 2019 Exam Analysis – The IIFT 2019 exam has been conducted by the conducting body i.e. IIFT, Delhi on 2nd December 2018 in offline mode. The entrance test of IIFT was conducted from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Further, the candidates had to report at the exam centres before the commencement of the exam i.e. by 9:00 am. Now, according to the candidates, they didn’t face any kind of problem during the exam or at the exam centre.

Scholarship

The entrance test of IIFT was conducting in offline mode and had only objective-type (MCQs) questions. Overall test paper was divided into three sections wherein the questions from General Awareness with 26 MCQs, English Usage and Reading Comprehension with 20 and 17 MCQs respectively, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning with 15 and 20 MCQs respectively, and lastly, the quantitative ability had 20 MCQs. Moreover, for the completion of the IIFT 2019 test paper, candidates were given the time duration of 3 hours.

    Section –I had the questions from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) which were moderate in level of difficulty. Therefore, the candidates with good reading skills and command over grammar portion as well could score good marks from this section. Also, the RC passages had the questions which were easy to solve. Thus, the difficulty level of this section was moderate.

    Commenting on the Last section which was Section –III comprised questions from Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR). The questions based on Logical Reasoning (LR) were quite easier in comparison to those asked from Data Interpretation portion which were difficult in level. The questions from DI portion were 5 in numbers and calculation intensive whereas, logical reasoning based questions were 4 in numbers and from puzzles which were easy to solve. Therefore, it can be said that the logical reasoning had the easiest questions among all other sections.

    Moving towards the Quantitative Ability section, it had the most difficult questions as compared to all other sections which were Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and General Awareness.
