FMS Delhi MBA 2019 – FMS also known as Faculty of Management Studies is administered by Delhi University and is conducted every year to offer admission to the deserving candidates who are willing to pursue management programs through FMS. The courses offered by FMS are two-year full-time MBA program, two-year full-time MBA executive (evening program), two-year executive program in Executive Health Care Administration (evening program), and Doctoral Program full time. More importantly, the candidates must note that they have to appear for CAT exam in order to seek admission, in case, if they have not taken CAT exam will not be eligible for admission. According to last year’s admission policy, the change that has been introduced is reduction in weightage of CAT scores to 60%, GD weightage of 10 % Extempore Speech to 5% and personal weightage to 15%. Hence, the admission into FMS will be based on Extempore Speech, Personal Interview, and CAT scores. The candidates those who are determined to appear for management entrance exam for 2019 must know the important dates related to it so that no events may be missed out. Also, the candidates’  wait for the actual dates is over now as the information bulletin for FMS Delhi 2019 has been released by the authority with a few important dates. FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    The candidates willing to appear in management exam must check the eligibility criteria thoroughly and those meeting the criteria set up by the authority are eligible to apply. Hence, for the ease of the candidates, the eligibility criteria are furnished below:

    Eligibility for MBA Two Year Full Time

    The candidates willing to pursue MBA full-time program must have possessed the following criteria

    • Graduation degree with at least 50% marks after twelve years of formal schooling and 45% marks for SC, ST, PWD, OBC, and CW or equivalent to CGPA.
    • Also, the candidates appearing for the final year are eligible to apply.

    Eligibility Criteria for two year evening MBA Executive Program

    The candidates who are willing to pursue two year evening MBA Executive program must fulfill the below-given criteria:

    • The candidates must have bachelor’s degree or three years after twelve years of formal schooling with the minimum of 45% aggregate marks or equivalent in any one of the disciplines such as Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences, Statistics, Medicine, Mathematics, Engineering, or Technology.
    • Additionally, the applicants should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, government establishment, or in a registered organization after passing Bachelor’s degree (excluding internship). As experience will be counted as on the 1st April of the year.
    • Above all, the candidates must produce “No Objection Certificate” or should either be sponsored from his/her present employer.

    Eligibility Criteria for two year evening MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) Program

    • The candidates must have bachelors degree with minimum of 45% aggregate marks or equivalent in any one of the discipline such as Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), Biotechnology, Genomics, Genetic, Nursing,  Bioengineering, Medicine, Paramedical Discipline, Pharmacology, Anthropology, Zoology from Delhi University or any recognized University or Deemed University.
    • Additionally, the applicants should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, government establishment, or in a registered organization after passing Bachelor’s degree (excluding internship). As experience will be counted as on the 1st April of the year.
    • Above all, the candidates must produce “No Objection Certificate” or should either be sponsored from his/her present employer.

    FMS Delhi MBA Eligibility Criteria for Doctoral Program

    The candidates who have determined to pursue Doctoral program must meet the below-given criteria and they must take the CAT exam which is very important:

    • A candidate must have Master’s or M. Phil. Degree from Delhi University or any other recognized or Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks.
    • In Addition to this the candidates must have MBA or Master’s degree in an allied subject from the University of Delhi or equivalent. Furthermore, the candidates must possess minimum two years of work experience post their MBA or Master’s Degree on the date of writing the admission test.
    • The candidates having bachelor‘s degree of four years or more and obtained a minimum of 70% and 60 % marks or equivalent grades and have also obtained any national level fellowships are eligible to apply for Ph.D. program.
    • Also, permanent teachers from any recognized university or college other than Delhi University or the employees of Research Institute in India or the candidates sponsored by their employers or you can say that those who will get study leave for two years will be considered for admission.

    FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Application Fee

    It is very important for the applicants to know about the application fee required while filling the application form. The details of the fee are given below:

    • The candidates belonging to general, OBC, foreign nationals category must pay Rs 1000/-
    • SC, ST, PWD 1, PWD 2, PWD 3 must pay Rs 350/-
    • The application fee can be paid through online mode only that is through credit, debit card, or net banking.

    FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Application Form

    The applicants longing to appear in FMS exam, first need to appear for CAT exam as it is mandatory. The candidates who have not appeared for a CAT are not eligible to fill the application form. To infill the application form the candidates must visit the official website of FMS as the application form will be made available online only from the month of October 2019 and the last date for submission of the application form is November 2019. Also, the candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee for each program through online mode that is through credit, debit card, or net banking.

    Steps to fill the FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Application Form

    To complete the application form, below given is the procedure which a candidate must follow to avoid any discrepancy. Now let’s have a look to it

    • First, visit the official website of FMS as an application form will be available online and can be completed through online mode only.
    • Then click on the option “Registration” and a dialogue box will pop up asking for login credentials.
    • Now, complete all the required details to complete the registration process. Also, the candidates applying for MBA and Ph. D must have CAT registration number with them.
    • Once you have completed all the details in the application form, the candidates need to pay the application fee of RS 1000/- for general category and for SC, ST, and PWD is RS 350/-. Also, the candidate must be clear that applying for each program the application fee is separate.
    • Make payment online through credit, debit card, or net banking.
    • Once the payment is made successfully, the next process is to upload the photograph, signature, and left thumb impression in JPEG format only. The size of the said requirement should not exceed more than 50 KB.
    • The reserved category candidates must send the self-attested photocopies of caste or category certificate along with the printed application acknowledgement form to the following address:

    Documents required to fill the application form

    The candidates while filling the application form must keep the following documents ready

    • The candidates must have their CAT registration number while filling the application form.
    • The candidates belonging to reserved category must have their category certificate.
    • Debit, credit card, or net banking details should be ready for making payment of application fee.
    • The candidates should have clear recent passport size photograph and scanned signature as well as left thumb impression in JPEG format which you must upload once the payment procedure is done.
    • The candidates must have work experience certificate of at least two years for those who are applying for the executive program.
    • Lastly, the candidates must have valid email id and contact number too as the receipt of the application form acknowledgment form will be sent through mail.

    FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Selection Procedure

    According to the revamped its selection procedure, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT scores that are earlier the weightage to be given was 85 % but now it has been reduced to 60 % including Group Discussion of 10 %, academic record of 10%, and personal Interview of 15%. Also, an extra 3% of maximum aggregate marks will be given to women candidates. The below-given table will explain the weightage given for final selection.

    Therefore, admission into MBA will be based on extempore speech, Personal Interview, and CAT scores. The sectional weightage is given in the table below:

    FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Result

    FMS Delhi 2019 result will be declared once the FMS exam is over. The result will be made available online which can be downloaded from the official website of FMS. The result available to the candidates will be in a form of scorecard. After the declaration of the result, the list of the shortlisted candidates will be announced based on the marks scored in the exam for next round of interview.

    FMS Delhi MBA 2019 Cutoff

    The cutoff is the minimum marks a candidate requires to score in order to be eligible for admission. FMS also was known as Faculty Management of Studies releases the cutoff in a form of composite score category wise. Based on this the candidates will be shortlisted for the further round.     Exam Day Guidelines

    The candidates appearing for FMS exam must remember the following points on the exam day.

    • The candidate must read all the instruction mentioned on the admit card.
    • Applicants must carry the admit card which is the very important document without this the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Along with the admit card ensure that you carry valid ID proof.
    • Reach the examination centre at least 45 minutes before the reporting time. In case, if you reach late to the examination centre then you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
    • Do not carry any electronic gadgets such as watch, calculator or I phone to the examination hall.
