CMAT 2019 – CMAT, an abbreviation for Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance test which is conducted every year for the candidates willing to pursue postgraduate management program from top B-school across the country. Earlier the entrance test of CMAT was conducted by AICTE however, from this year, National Testing Agency has taken the responsibility of conducting CMAT 2019 exam. Therefore, candidates who appeared in the entrance of CMAT 2019 which was conducted on 28th January 2019 must download the result as it has been declared on 6th February 2019. To download the result cum scorecard of CMAT 2019, candidates have to visit the website of NTA since it has been made available in the online mode merely. Now, the cutoff percentile will be released by each participating institute after which the candidates can apply for their choice of college and based on the candidate’s score, they will be invited for the selection procedure. Lastly, the final merit list will be released containing the names of the selected candidates who can get into their choice of college for MBA and PGDM programs.     CMAT 2019 Application Form

    • CMAT 2019 application form was released on November 1, 2018.
    • Candidates can complete the CMAT Registration Process 2019 through online mode only.
    • The window for CMAT Application Form 2019 was closed on 7th December 2018.
    • While filling the application form, candidates have to choose 3 cities across India as their test cities, according to their convenience.
    • Uploading the scanned images of photograph and signature is also a mandatory step to complete the CMAT registration process 2019 which can be done until 8th December 2019.
    • Candidates are advised to take the printout of their filled application for further reference.

    CMAT 2019 Application Fee

    The fee can be deposited through both modes: online & offline. You can pay either through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or make the cash payment in selected SBI Bank branches. The application fee is Rs. 1400 + Bank Charges (for GEN/OBC) & Rs. 700 + Bank Charges (for Female/SC/ST/PWD).

    2. Scroll down and click on “Management”.
    3. You will be redirected to the Management Exams page.
    4. In the CMAT exam section, click the “Registration” button.
    5. Enter the required information to complete the registration process.
    6. Sign up now with the registration ID and password to complete the application process.
    7. Enter all the details you are asked for, such as: For example, personal information and educational qualifications. Upload scanned images of required documents and pay the fee.
    8. Verify the details in the completed application form in advance to final submission.
    9. You can print out the finished application form for later reference.

    CMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen.

    Age Limit: There is no age bar. Candidates from any age group can participate in this exam.

    Qualification Criteria:

    • Minimum Qualification: A candidate must possess graduation degree of 3-4 years from a recognized institution.

    Note- The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for CMAT 2019 Exam.

    • The CMAT application of the candidates holding a graduate degree through a part-time program of distance learning mode will also be accepted.

    CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

    CMAT 2019 Admit Card (Released)

    The CMAT Admit Card 2019 was made available from 7th January 2019. The only way to attain the CMAT Admit Card was to download it from the official website.

    On the big day i.e. exam day, candidates had to carry their admit card along with a photo ID proof, issued by Government of India, such as PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, UID Card, Voter ID, or notarized affidavit (in English).

    CMAT 2019 Exam Centres

    The total number of 73 exam centers were prescribed by the examination conducting authority of CMAT 2019 i.e. National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates while filling the application form got the opportunity to select their choice of at least 3 exam centers as per their preference from the below-given list. further, the details regarding the test city or exam center were mentioned on the admit card. 







































































    CMAT 2019 Exam Analysis  

    The questions from data interpretation questions (DI) were much lesser, but the language comprehension had a good count of vocabulary-based questions with very narrow and unclear answer choices. Logical thinking, although somewhat tricky, was quite feasible and CMAT test takers were able to solve an average of 17 out of 18 questions in the LR section. General Awareness (GK) was a combination of simple and difficult questions. The questions were on the basis of Historic GK, Recent Affairs, Politics, Polls, and Constitution.

    CMAT 2019 Answer Key  (Released)

    Response key for CMAT 2019 has been published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and not by AICTE. CMAT 2019 response keys are being published for the first time since many computer-based MBA entrance exams, such as CAT have also started publishing officials answer keys. The CMAT answer key 2019 comprises of right answers to questions from various modules. The answer key of CMAT 2019 is accessible online now.     CMAT 2019 Result

    NTA has published the CMAT 2019 Result on 6th February 2019 in PDF format on their official website. 

    The result has been declared in two forms: All India Merit List & State Merit List. The candidates’ roll number, score, and rank will be mentioned in the CMAT Merit 2019.

    CMAT 2019 Scorecard

    Candidates can download their scorecards from 6th February 2019 as it has been declared by the examination i.e. National Testing Agency (NTA).

    The scorecard has been released on the official website for download. No candidates will receive any scorecard individually by post or through email notification.

    The CMAT Scorecard 2019 will be valid for the whole 2019-2020 academic year.

    CMAT 2019 Cut Off

    The CMAT 2019 cut-off is the minimum score an aspirant needs to positively secure in CMAT 2019 entrance exam to get placed in the management institutes across India. Since the result has been declared, the cut-off of CMAT 2019 will be published in the month of February 2019 by each of the participating institutions, on the basis of which candidates for the further selection process will be short-listed. Leading MBA Colleges and other b-schools in India are based on last year’s CMAT sections.

    CMAT 2019 Selection Procedure

    Candidates after meeting or fulfilling the cutoff percentile will get shortlisted for the further round of selection procedure that comprises of Group Discussion (GD) and Written Ability Test (WAT) or Personal Interview (PI). However, the selection procedure of each college differ from one another and the final merit list will be released after the completion of selection procedure round on the basis of the previous academic record, marks acquired in the entrance test of CMAT 2019, performance in GD and PI rounds.

    In Group Discussion (GD) round, at least 10 candidates are kept in a group and they are given the time duration of 10-15 minutes for the discussion on any topic given by the examiner. In between the discussion, candidates’ closure skills, managerial skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills etc. are checked by the examiner.

    After completing the GD round, candidates are selected based on their performance to proceed for PI round wherein the panel of examiners or experts asks the questions related to the hobbies, work experience, interests etc.

    CMAT 2019 Counselling

    The selected candidates will further have to participate in the counseling round by completing the registration process by visiting the official website. While registering for the counseling process, candidates have to give their preference for a particular college and course as well.
