CAT 2019 Application Form – IIM Kozhikode has extended the last date to complete the registration process of CAT 2019 up to 25 September 2019. Prof. Shubhasis Dey, Convener CAT 2019, stated in the media release that the natural calamities have caused disruption and due to the difficulties faced by the candidates IIMs have decided to extend the last date for CAT 2019 registration to September 25, 2019 till 5 P.M. The application process for CAT 2019 was started on 7 August 2019 in online mode. Moreover, the candidates can now fill the application form until 25 September 2019. Therefore, candidates who have made the mindset to pursue postgraduate management program from any of the 21 IIMs or other top B-schools across the country must fill the form on a priority basis as it is released. However, prior to filling the form, candidates must scrutinize the eligibility criteria laid by the examination conducting authority to ensure that they fulfill the requirements to apply for the CAT 2019 exam. While filling the application form, candidates must follow all their details including personal and educational. Apart from this, upload the mandatory documents such as mark sheets of 10th, 12th, graduation, scanned photograph, and signature in the specified format.     CAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    Below-mentioned criteria are set by the conducting authority for the candidates who will be applying for the CAT 2019. Those, who will not fulfill the criteria, their application form will get rejected by the concerned authority. Therefore, prior to filling the form, check the following:

    • Candidates who have completed their graduation from any of the recognized universities/colleges/institutions can apply for CAT 2019
    • Those who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the same
    • In the graduation, candidates belonging to the general category must have acquired 50% marks and those who come under a reserved category such as SC/ST must have obtained 45% of aggregate marks
    • Most importantly, there are no eligibility criteria set for the candidates of upper age.

    CAT 2019 Application Form

    The application form for CAT 2019 will commence from 7 August 2019 and will continue until 25 September 2019 in online mode merely. To fill the application form, candidates have to complete the registration process first and then, they have to proceed for filling up the application form.     Step 1: CAT 2019 Registration

    • Firstly, go to the official website of CAT 2019
    • On the home page, there will be an option to register as a new user, click on it
    • Candidates now have to enter their basic details such as name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number
    • Further, hit the submit button to submit all the details

    Step 2: Completion of CAT 2019 Application Form

    • Post completion of the registration process, the login credential will be generated and will be sent to the registered email address of the candidates
    • Using the login credentials, candidates can further fill the application form in online mode merely
    • Whilst filling the application form, candidates have to prove their personal as well as educational details including name, parent’s name, permanent address, correspondence address, etc.
    • Post this, click on the submit button

    Step 3: Uploading the significant document

    • After endowing the personal as well as educational details, candidates must upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format which is mentioned below

    Step 4: Payment of the Application Fee

    • Candidates to submit the form successfully must make the payment of the application fee in both online and offline mode
    • However, the application fee varies category-wise and accordingly the applicants of the general category have to remit the application fee of amount Rs. 1900/- and those belonging to the reserved category have to pay an amount of Rs. 950
    • Most importantly, candidates to pay the application fee in online mode have to use the credit card, debit card or net banking and that for offline payment, make the demand draft and sent to the favor of XLRI

    How to retrieve Registration Number and Password

    • Visit the official website of CAT and click on the login option
    • Further, click on forget password option
    • The page for the regeneration of password will appear on the screen
    • Again, reset the password by using the OTP (One-Time Password) or answering the security questions
    • Enters the details and click on submit button
    • Now, reset your password and login again with the new password

    Guidelines to be followed while filling the CAT 2019 Application Form

    • Check the eligibility criteria before proceeding for CAT 2019 registration
    • Compile all the significant documents prior to the filing of the application form
    • All the field marked with ‘*’ must be obligatorily field
    • Also, upload the documents such as mark sheets, photograph, signature, etc. in the specified format
    • Select the exam centers properly as per your convenience and most importantly, during application form correction process, candidates are given the chance to edit the selected details. Thus, submit the application after scrutinizing it well
    • For the payment of the application fee in online mode, keep the details of the credit card, debit card or net banking handy
