BEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria – The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE 2017) is an organization of the Government of India, under the Ministry of Power formed in March 2002 under the requirements of the nation’s 2001 Energy Conservation Act. The organization’s purpose is to build up programs which would boost the protection and capable use of energy in India. The government has planned to make it compulsory for all appliances in India to have ratings by the BEE 2017 beginning in January 2010.

The task of Bureau of Energy Efficiency is to “institutionalize” energy competence services, allow delivery mechanisms in the country and offer leadership to energy effectiveness in all sectors of the country. The key objective would be to decrease energy strength in the country.

Bureau of Energy Efficiency Entrance Exam (BEE 2017) for the post of Energy Managers and Energy Auditors is in use by the National Productivity Council (NPC) on behalf Bureau of Energy Efficiency, a constitutional body- under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is one of the most recognized Engineering Entrance Exams in India.

The Bureau was founded in order to make high cadre energy managers along with auditors that hold hard to believe knowledge within the energy management, accomplishment and financing of the energy projects, along with dissimilar kind of policy study.

BEE 2017 Exam Eligibility

For Energy Managers:

Candidates need to have any one of the following qualifications:

  • A graduate engineer or corresponding with 3years of work experience.
  • E/M.Tech or corresponding with two years of work experience.
  • Graduate Engineer with Post Graduate Degree in Management or its corresponding with 2 years of work experience.
  • Diploma Engineer or corresponding with work experience of 6 years.
  • Post graduate in science with minimum 5 years of work experience.

For Energy Auditors:

Candidates need to have any one of the following qualifications:

  • Graduate Engineer or its corresponding with atleast 3 years of work experience.
  • E/M.Tech or its corresponding with atleast 2 years of work experience.
  • Graduate Engineer with Post Graduate Degree in Management or its corresponding with 2 years of work experience.

Note: Candidates with no experience can also apply for any of the above examinations. Though, the certificate will be awarded only on acquiring the necessary work experience and qualifying in viva voce examination, as relevant.
