Bachelors of Computer Application – BCA Course Details

A Bachelor of Computer Application widely known as BCA Course is an undergraduate programme in India in the field of Computer Application.  This course is for the students who want to make their career in the field of Computer and Information Technology. The BCA course structure is spread across six semesters in three years. Every semester consists of seven papers with a combination of balance in practical and theory. This programme will help the students to expose in various fields of computer application which includes latest developments done in the industry. After completion of this course applicants interested can also do their post graduation or higher studies in various courses such as Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.), Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Science in Computer Science (MSc. CS) and Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc. IT). Applicants can get jobs in private and public sectors, insurance, banking, stock market, accounting, e-commerce and marketing.

BCA Course Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to take admission in this course must satisfy the below condition:

  • Applicants must have passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject to apply for this course.
  • Applicants should score a minimum of 45% or more (Varies from institute to institute) aggregate marks in their HSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Board to be eligible for this programme.
