Bachelor of Commerce popularly known as B.Com Course is an undergraduate programme in commerce. The degree is also known as the Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (BCA). The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business studies. Applicants who have completed their 12th successfully can apply for this course. The duration of this full time course is 3 years. The B.Com will help the students to enhance their skill to learn, and will provide you with the opportunity to develop networks through real-world experiences. This course focuses on the factors that drive economic behavior at both an individual and organizational level. This course will prepare the students with the analytical, communication and problem-solving skills to effectively identify issues, source information and find well-organized and practical solutions. Course Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are eligible for the examination only if they satisfy following condition:

  • Applicants must pass with an Intermediate/ HSC Exam with specialization in any of the areas of Arts, Science or Commerce from the University to apply for this course.
  • Applicants should be passed from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma course in any Engineering Branches to apply for the admission.
  • Applicant must score a minimum marks as per the requirement of the college to apply for the admission.

B.Com Course Exam Pattern

The performance of the applicants shall be evaluated into two components viz. by Internal Assessment with 40% marks in the first component and by conducting the Semester End Examinations with 60% marks as the second component. The allocation of marks for the Internal Assessment and Semester End Examinations are as shown below:

  1. A) Internal Assessment – 40% 40 Marks
1 Class test / case study /online examination to be conducted in the given semester      20 Marks
2   One assignment based on curriculum to be assessed by theteacher concerned      10 Marks
3 Active participation in routine class instructional deliveries      05 Marks




 Overall conduct as a responsible learner, mannerism and articulation and exhibit of leadership qualities in organizing related academic actives 05 Marks
