APSC Recruitment 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification :

  • For Inspector : Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects or in Engineering.
  • For Preservation Officer : Candidates should be a graduate in Arts/Science preferably Major in Chemistry /History from a Institution or University recognized by the Govt. Diploma in 2 courses in “Care and Conservation” of books/Manuscripts from a recognized University/Institute.
  • For Lecturer : Candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in Master of Fine Arts in Graphics from a recognized University and as per Norms set up by U.G.C / G.U preference must be given to those who qualified in SLET or U.G.C NET.
  • For Director : Candidates must have at least second class Master Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from a recognized University or its equivalent. Degree of a recognized University with Statistics, Mathematics, Economics as a subject and a diploma recognized by Government secured after at least 2 years Post Graduate Training in Statistics

Nationality : Candidates need to be of Indian Nationality

Age Limit :

  • For Inspector/Preservation Officer/Lecturer : Candidates need to be a minimum of 21 years and should not exceed 43 years of age as on 03.03.2016.
  • For Director : Candidates need to be a minimum of 35 years of age and should not be more than 45 years of age as on 01.01.2016.
