Amity University Entrance Exam – For gaining admissions into engineering courses in the Amity University the candidates would have to go through an entrance test that is solely conducted by the university itself which is known as the Amity JEE 2018. The university shall be conducting the examination in the month of April 2018 in online mode and the application forms for the same will be made available from the month of February 2018, via both online and offline mode. All candidates who become eligible for the examination shall be required to pay an additional fee of Rs. 1100 via the online payment modes like net banking or any other mode of online transfer.
All candidates who are willing to apply for an engineering course to the Amity university need to go through this entrance test in order to be successfully registered as a candidate under the university. The candidates who have applied for the entrance test would have to start booking their exam centres during the month of March 2018 and the candidates would be able to access their results for the same entrance exam during the first week of May 2018. Amity JEE 2018 Application options
Students who are willing to register themselves for the Amity JEE 2018 entrance exam can apply for the test in three ways. All three of them are mentioned in the article below.
Option 1 – Apply Online: Candidates here have the option to apply online for the Amity JEE 2018 entrance exam. Here the candidates will have to upload their documents to the official website of the university and fill the application form. For this method, candidate can make the application fee payment through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Option 2 – Download Application form and Submit Offline: Here the candidates will have to visit the official website of the university and download the offline application forms. Then they must fill up the forms and enter all required details. Candidates also have to fix passport sized photographs to the application form. Candidates must note that they need to submit photocopies class 10th mark sheet and class 12th mark sheet. For this mode of application, candidates can make the application fee payment through Demand Draft which shall be submitted along with the application form.
Option 3 – Purchase Application Pack: The third option is where the applying candidate can purchase the application packs from the Amity information centres and campuses in Greater Noida, Noida, Lucknow, Jaipur, Gurugram, Gwalior, Kolkata, Mumbai, Raipur and Ranchi.
Here, the candidates are required to attach their recent passport sized photographs with the application form. Aspirants are to submit the application for along with the photocopy of class 10th mark sheet.
Scheduling and Rescheduling Charges: Candidates must note that there is a certain penalty fee for no show candidates. It means that candidates who pay for the exam application of a particular date but do not appear will have to make further payment for rescheduling of dates.
Candidates are notified by the exam council that they will have to pay Rs.750 as rescheduling charges for change of date of exam upon no show.
Amity JEE Eligibility Criteria 2018
- English should have been a mandatory subject in the 10+2 level
- All applying candidates who have completed their 10+2 in regular course mode are eligible to sit for the examination.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics should have been the mandatory subject in the 10+2 level of the candidate.
- In calculation of average percentage, optional subject shall not be considered.
- Candidates having back in any subject will not be offered admission to the university.
Amity JEE 2018 Application Form
All applying candidates are suggested to fill up the application form for Amity JEE 2018 only when they are sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the programs offered by the university. Moreover, candidates will have to pay an application fees of Rs.1100 while submitting the application form for the same.

Amity JEE 2018 Exam Pattern
For all the candidates who are planning to appear for the Amity JEE 2018 exam, they should keep this in mind that they are required to be aware of the exam pattern which in turn helps passing the real exam much easier.
Number of Questions: The candidates will get a total of 90 questions, objective type.
Time Allotment: Candidates will be given as time slot of 120 minutes to solve the entire paper.
Paper Sections: The paper is set to be divided into four sections which go like – General English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or any other optional subject that the candidate might have applied for.
Marking Scheme: The candidates shall be given 4 marks on each correct answer and 1 mark shall be deducted on each wrong answer.
Exam Mode: The exam for Amity JEE is conducted in online mode only, and the candidates are allowed to leave the test centre only after they have clicked the ‘end test’ button.

Amity JEE 2018 Admit Card
It is of crucial importance for all the candidates to download their admit card from the official website of the university before they are ready to sit for the examination. The admit card also works as a hall ticket for the candidates where they need to carry the admit card with them on the day of the examination in order to gain entry into the exam centre. The admit card contains personal details of the candidate and other details like the candidate’s choice of subjects and the time and date of the exam. Amity JEE 2018 Counselling
The university will commence the counselling session soon after the end of the entrance exam. The university will invite candidates to the counselling session on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam.
