AIPMT 2017 Exam Pattern

AIPMT 2016 Exam Pattern helps the applicants to understand the outline of the paper well which facilitate to prepare and plan in advance. The pattern specifies the duration of the paper, number of questions, marks allotted per subject, syllabus etc. The AIPMT exam shall be conducted in the month of May, 2016.The paper pattern is put down by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).  The test will be available in English as well as in Hindi language as per the selection of the applicant. Every question will have 4 alternatives of which only one answer is correct and applicant will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer and . Applicants can refer the below pattern to prepare for the examination.

Exam Pattern for AIPMT 2016

  • The length of the test will be of 180 minutes.
  • The question paper consists of 180 multiple choice objective type questions of 720 marks.
  • The paper will be available in English or Hindi.
  • Each wrong answer one marks will be deducted and 4 marks will be added to the score for every correct answer.
  • The structure of the exam is as follows:

      Firstly you need to be thorough by Physics, Chemistry and Biology books of 11th & 12th class.
      Also you need to solve the previous 2-3 years questions papers of AIPMT and focus on the frequently asked questions, pattern and topics.
      Then solve MCQs from NCERT Reference books.
      Kindly note that the most important preparation tip of AIPMT is to revise regularly.
