AIIMS 2017 MBBS Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Nationals – In you’re an Indian National you have to be above the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission. Those born on or after 2nd January, 1997 would NOT be eligible to apply for AIIMS.
You need to have cleared your 12th Grade, under the 10 + 2 Scheme or Senior qualifications School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I. Sc.) or an equivalent examination of a reputed University or Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.
You also should have scored at least 60% total marks for General and OBC; and 50% marks for SC or ST individuals in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
If you have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their major subject and hoping to clear the examination with the required percentage of marks then you would also be eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. Also, you would be accepted only if you give documentary proof or written proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks on or before the date mentioned.
For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)-If you are an OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 then you would also be eligible to give the test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals would be applicable to you and you would need to give proof of the same.
For Foreign Nationals– For AIIMS New Delhi, only Foreign individuals who are selected by the Indian Government need to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects of ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY in their Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination in order to be eligible for admission to the M. B. B. S. Course. Foreign individuals do not need to give the Competitive Entrance Examination.
AIIMS 2017 MBBS Application Form

Step 3: Once registered, the aiims exam fees payment can be done online and all the related news or notifications are received on the registered email ID to keep you updated. The registration normally starts in mid-March and exam is held in June or May end every year.
