    The following are the Important Exam Dates of AIIMS 2018:

    Commencement of Online application form submission form January 2018
    Last date for online form submission February 2018
    Availability of form status can be expected in March 2018
    Candidates will be able to download the AIIMS admit cards from May 2018
    Date of computer based examination scheduled in 27th May 2018
    The council will declare the results in 12th June 2018
    First round of counselling to be held on 3rd of July to the 6th of July 2018
    Second round of counselling to be conducted on the 2nd of August 2018
    Third round of counselling to be conducted on   4th of September 2018
    Open round of counselling to be conducted on (if required) 27th September 2018

    AIIMS Eligibility Criteria 2018

    Applicants appearing for AIIMS 2018 should check the eligibility criteria before registering for AIIMS Examination. The detailed Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS 2018 is given below:

    • The minimum age limit for applying in AIIMS examination is 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
    • Students who are born on or after 2nd January 2002 are not eligible to apply for AIIMS examination.
    • Indian Citizen, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.
    • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
    • Candidates who are appearing for the 12th exam are also eligible to apply for AIIMS 2018.
    • Applicants should have obtained a minimum aggregate in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English subjects which is 60% for General/OBC candidate and 50% for SC/ST/OPH.

    • AIIMS Application Form 2018 will be available online tentatively around the 3rd week of February 2018.
    • The AIIMS 2018 application form will be available on the official website(
    • Candidates have to fill the online application form to get registered for the entrance examination, the form includes all the necessary details about their communication credentials such as Phone Number, Email ID and Address along with educational qualification.
    • Students have to pay the application fee online only.
    • Aspirants will have a choice to select the centre for the entrance examination.
    • Scanned images and signature are needed to be uploaded in the application form in prescribed specifications as per the format.
    • After registration and payment of fees for the application form, an Acknowledgement page will be available for download.
    • The Applicants are required to take a printout of the application form for further references.

    Candidates are required to pay the Application form fee so as to complete the registration.

    • The fee payment is only available via Online mode.
    • Payment of fees can be done using Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.

    AIIMS Exam Pattern 2018

    • The AIIMS Examination will be only through online mode.
    • The Question paper will be available in both Hindi & English Language.
    • The total number of Questions will be 200.
    • MCQ type questions will be asked along with 4 options.
    • The duration of examination will be 3 hours & 30 minutes.
    • The Marking scheme consists of 1 mark for each correct answer.
    • There is Negative Marking and 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

    Reservation of Seat

    The seat reservation will be followed by 15% SC, 7.5% ST and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals with a 3% reservation for Orthopedic Physically Handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis.

    • AIIMS Syllabus 2018 will be officially declared on their website by the concerned authority.
    • The syllabus is based on  12th class standard Intermediate Science.
    • The AIIMS syllabus has various subjects like Physics, Chemistry,  Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude. The details about syllabus are given below:

    AIIMS Admit Card 2018

    • The AIIMS Admit Card 2018 can be downloaded tentatively around 1st week of May 2018.
    • The Admit Card will be provided online by the concerned authority via online mode only.
    • Candidates have to download and take a printout of the admit card.
    • Admit card comprises of information about the exam date and exam centre.
    • The students have to compulsorily bring the admit card on the day of examination or else would not be allowed to appear in the examination hall.

    AIIMS 2018 Counselling

    After the declaration of AIIMS 2018 results, the applicants will be called for AIIMS Counselling on basis of the merit list prepared by the concerned authority. The counselling procedure will start from tentatively around 1st – 2nd week of July 2018.

    • Candidates will be called for counselling process as per the list prepared.
    • Counselling list will be prepared for all 7 AIIMS via offline process at AIIMS, New Delhi.
    • For the counselling process, candidates have to be at the specified time and venue mentioned in the counselling call letter.
    • Students have to mark their preferences for counselling.
    • Seats will be allotted to candidates as per their rank, filled choices and seat availability.
    • Candidates have to appear at the allotted college with all the documents in original to confirm admission after the counselling process is completed.
